Ahhh so much to unpack and put in this is a total feature length film. I think Netflix should do a film as a one. The Crown will take an age and Harry and Meghan won't be the focus.

I think Harry and Meghan will also get two movies. Lifetime and Hallmark for sure. The director of this is involved with the "The Royals" tv show which is very naughty in its own right so I do expect a little more sexiness to the show. They just also have more to play with in that regard as well.

I'll wait for the real fun when they hit the The Crown in Season 5.

Wait until that Lifetime movie about Harry and Meghan's romance and see how Sam and the Markles deal with any portrayal of them. Sam will definitely will come out swinging claiming it's not true (if shoe in a bad light). But just like a book or article, she would have to prove in court what was shown in the movie is false and it defamed her. If you don't sue, then presume it's true. And she can get a lawyer for free in the US system.

With this movie being made to fit into a time slot of running basically for an hour and a half (need to insert time slots for those ever present commercials), the focus is going to be primarily on Harry and Meghan themselves and the events leading up to the engagement.

I would expect that Doria will be cast as a non speaking part shown only at her Invictus Games appearance and the rest of Meghan's family omitted totally from the film as Harry, up until now, really hasn't had any interactions with them other than with Doria.

Doubt there will be an appearance by someone playing Samantha. It's a short movie, and there is a lot we can cover without her. They'll likely just show Meghan and Harry's reaction to the tabloid interviews.

Non speaking part for Doria? Are we not expecting them to show the first Harry/Doria meeting or more importantly, Meghan confiding in her mom, as she makes some of the biggest decisions of her life? I know it's a Lifetime movie but I'd hope at least one scene of the latter.

They will need to include scenes of her life in order to show character development. Meghan seems to have been close to both parents, but it's not as likely that she would be confiding on matters of the heart with her dad, who lives in another country.

We never got the reported 'kissing pics' on the balcony. However, an Italian magazine (Chi) published the famous pool pics (which are enough for me), and there's also a photo of Meghan cupping Harry's face in her hands and giving him a smooch on the lips. Harry's back is to the camera and it was taken with a long lens so it's not super sharp, but the expression on the face of one of Harry's friends as he looks on says it all: Pure delight for Harry having found someone special.

I've seen all that, but I want to see the balcony picture. From what Lainey reported (it was circulated in the industry, just not published), it was like out of a movie.
