thanks for these pics!!! victoria is really elegant!!!

Thanks dazzling, Queen Sylvia is wearing one of my favourite parure´s, the Cameo´s! Does anybody know what brooch she wore during the day, on her white coat? It is rather pretty. CP Victoria looks well, though the red dress seems to be recycled. The suit is elegant but the colour is a bit gloomy, but very appropriate for the autumn I suppose.
A pity that Madelaine and Carl-Philip didn´t attend, I assume they were too busy with their internships etc.

They did attend...the gala at least. Check Polfoto. But Madeleine´s dress isn´t worth it actually (IMHO)

Well, Carl-Philip makes up for that Lena ;). The dress of Madelaine seems to be one of those interchangeble dresses she and her sister used to wear a few years ago, still the colour is nice enough. What necklace is she wearing, the pictures aren´t too big so I have difficulties identifying it. Any idea why she isn´t wearing an order? Carl-Philip is wearing a Swedish one so I suppose Madelaine could have worn that one too. Not that I mind as these orders usually spoil a perfectly elegant dress.

The Swedish Prime Minister seems to have a pretty wife btw, the dress reminds me of the blue one that Mette-Marit wore in Madrid. What is her age?

Which tiaria is Madeleine wearing? For Victoria it's the Baden Fringe, isn't it?

Princess Madeleine is wearing the King Carl Gustav Fringe Tiara, gift to Queen Silvia a few years ago. Yes, Crown Princess Victoria is wearing the Baden Fringe Tiara. :princess3:Both ladies are sporting their usual tiaras. Nothing new... As for the queen. OMG! One of my favorite parures of all time. Very, very regal. And there is not another one like it. Everyone looked beautiful. Recycled dresses, but I guess you can't have your cake and eat it too. LOL

The King, Queen and Crown Princess are wearing the sashes of the highest Bulgarian order (don't know the name). Prince carl Philip is also wearing that same order (around his neck) along with the Swedish order of the Seraphim. Princess Madeleine is wearing the badge of the Bulgarian order, in the middle of her dress, although she should wear it next to the Royal Family Order (The King's portrait), as Crown Princess Mary did during Mr. Parvanov's State Visit to Denmark.

Thanks for posting all the pics everyone! I think all look wonderful. Love to see Carl-Philip. Not one of my fave dresses of Madeleine's but the color kind of makes up for it! I have always liked Victoria's dress that she is wearing, nice choice for tonight. And the Queen, wow! She really looks very lovely!

I will certainly enjoy watching for pictures from this visit! Great start so far!

Both Queen Silvia and Crown Princess looked wonderful yesterday evening. Princess Madeleine's upper part looked beautiful (love her hair, makeup, tiara and necklace) but her evening gown looked pretty shapeless (nice colour thought). Prince Carl Philip's hair looked kind of greasy (and haircut wouldn't be bad) but very nice to see him again.

Is this the fashion in Sweden for guys? Jonas and Daniel both have longer hair too and they also seem to put a lot of gel in it (esp. Daniel).

at first i did not see madeleine, but now we got a few photos
the dress she wore is it a old one?

Thanks to all for posting the information and lovely pictures of the state visit.

Yesterday the guests visit Vasa-Museum and today the president visit Uppsala and Enköping.
Did the royal couple accompany the guests by this visits?

The royal couple didn´t accompany president Parvanov and his wife to Uppsala and Enköping.

LadyFinn, thanks for the information. Where do you hear the information? I search it but I don't find any notice.

Do you know, whether the royal couple ditn't accompany the president by visit Vasa-Museum second day of state visit?

Uppsala Nya Tidning's articles "Presidentbesök i Uppsala" and "Presidentbesök i Enköping" doesn't mention any royals and they were not mentioned in the County Administrative Board's press information about the visit.

That the King, Queen and Crown Princess attended events of the state visit during two days is a lot already, plus Prince Carl Philip and Princess Madeleine on the first day's gala banquet. They usually don't attend all three days of activities, there's always a big part of the schedule that is only for the visiting head of state and entourage (most of it political meetings, but this time they scheduled a lot of that for the President on the first day).

About the visit to the Vasa Museum and The Museum of National Antiquities, I guess they may have wanted a little break to prepare for the evening's concert and reception... Just a guess though, maybe the King had some office work to do as well. And the Vasa Museum is really what the Munk Museum is for Queen Sonja of Norway - King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia can probably give a tour of it in their sleep by now

GrandDuchess, thanks for your information about the visits.

I think the king and queen hasn't no other official events (mentioned on the calendar of royalcourt) within this times and so they can accompany the guests!

It's pitty for us to see no pictures from visit the Prins Eugen Waldemarsudde by the queen and Mrs. Parvanova!

the City Hall seems amazing. I love when nordic royals receive visits from abroad, it's always great to see their palaces, houses, places where they meet people.

I just remember i was in the precession, as a royal guardsmen.
