I didn't realize Maxima had access to a tutti fruitti necklace and bracelet. Bravo to her for wearing both.
I do think it is actually her duty, as well as the duty of the other princesses, to wear the historic jewelry.

Quite right, except the Dutch tutti-frutti demi-parure is a new acquisition.

She has had the tutti fruitti set since William turned 40, so that's 6 or 7 years, Im not sure, go back and look for it, it is so worth the time. The set is so beautiful on her. It is one of my faves.

I wonder if the ruby and diamond cluster drops are a gift. Im pretty sure they are new and Im sure she would be given a gift...new Queen and all...and we All know they have some gorgeous jewels in the Carribean!!!! Hmmm, I wish we got info on that.

Thanks for the close ups salma. It is nice that queen Máxima keeps adding to the Dutch jewel collection.

The new ruby earrings seem versatile, I wonder if the rubies can be replaced with small sapphires or emeralds.

hey salma! those diamond bracelets were seen right when she did a state visit last year in Middle East (don't remember where) as was a beautiful cuff on then Queen Bea. Maybe gifts? I love them too. Really elegant!

Now that I see there's an M in the diamond bracelet, I think there are 4 A's in it, the 3 girls and one for Alexander.

I love both very personal bracelets, but I wouldn't wear them together, they are too different and would be more beautiful when they could shine alone IMO.

Update: Some of the gems look like moonstones with diamonds and sapphire. It looks like extra pieces from several different jewels and/or they had unmourned gems that Maxima had made into something usual...or this was just a piece that hasn't been used much. Regardless, I love it and I love Maxima for her love of jewels,

While that's a beautiful necklace, it doesn't look like the piece from the Dutch parure. Max's doesn't have the geometric sapphire insets in the necklace portion and it's not a flat design like the 1900 piece. It's also has dangling diamonds, it seems, as well. Altogether, the front portion is a different design; it doesn't have the swirls and scrolls of the older necklace with cabochon sapphires. Max's sapphires look like they're faceted.

This looks like a much more modern piece than the Dutch parure. It is much more flexible more from the 60's I would say.
