No, as I said this was the 'Invitation to a Wedding' souvineer book from the Wedding. It was published before she was *insert whatever word*-ed into giving up her career.

I make a very rare exception and post some unfavourable pics I've
found today but I promise not to change my general
tendency Sarah trying to get out of a car at the Dorchester
hotel in London on June 28, 2008:

The unfortunate thing of course is that her face looks nicely done in those pics, but it's not noticed because of her thighs. Couldn't she have pulled down her skirt before the car door was opened?

iceflower, I am shocked! hasn't anyone shown the woman how to get out of a car gracefully? Still, looking on the bright side, her outfit seemed nice and her makeup made her look fresh!

Oh, Lord . . . tell me she's not following in the sleazy footsteps of those trashy Hollywood types (at least Sarah is wearing panties) and throwing the paps a crotch shot for attention. I agree, she should have pulled her skirt down before she opened the door. Better yet, don't wear such a short skirt. Thanks, Ice, btw for the photos.

Ew, for god's sake didn't she learn how to get out of a car gracefully in her 10 years of being a member of TBRF?
Anyway her outfit does look good, the media loves to take photos of Fergie at her worst.

Well, there are so many opportunities......
But, seriously, being nice now, I think the outfit is good, I just love her white coat, and I think that she looks nice--except for the leg and crotch thing

(is it)????

It was not her most graceful moment, but she didn't show panties in the photo. That is her jacket you are seeing.

Here's a question: are the papers being deliberately hard on her because they don't want her spending so much time in the UK? After all, just because those pictures were taken, they didn't have to be printed.

Nicer pictures would not have made their story or sold papers though.

True. So true. I should realize that after 27 years of Royal Watching.

That is a true point but, after so many years of being in the spotlight it's a shame that Sarah is still giving them all the ammunition they need to sell the papers. It's almost as though she likes all the negative publicity. Or she is so dense she just doesn't get it.

Perhaps Sarah is just comfortable in her own skin and doesn't care what people think of her anymore. I would imagine that you can only go for so many years being criticized to death before you just shrug you shoulders and get on with it.

I agree with you, but for her daughters' sake I think she should care.

I tend to think differently. To me, it would be far more damaging for her daughters if Sarah cared about what's being said on her in the papers. I don't believe Beatrice or Eugenie would like to see their mother feeling sad and down when reading some critics ; that's exactly what they are looking for : provoke to get a response of the person.
