Sarah Ferguson's 9/11 modus operandi is worrying. She, in her recollection of her 9/11 experience, never fails to mention the Little Red doll found in the debris. Little Red books are now being sold on internet book sites with mentions of "a percentage" going to "charity".

I know that Osipi is right in that 9/11 affected many people regardless of where they were. Use of 9/11 as a money-maker for Sarah Ferguson is abhorrent.

… And, I just got an email from Barnes and Noble that the Little Red Christmas book is available for for a special price. There is no mention of a contribution to charity.

I have never contacted B&N about this book. I have only mentioned it here.

Just checked and there's a mess of Little Red books available at abebooks.com for dirt cheap if someone is looking for them. I've never been inclined to seek them out myself.

I do agree that using 9/11 to push the book sales is a pathetic thing to do and, to me, dishonors the meaning of what happened that day.

Wonder why she’s abandoning her ‘Duchess’ brand and starting w/ the new name, otherwise typical Sarah MO.’

From what I gather, this is a special initiative for Street Child and "SarahSenses" is the brand name of the product. Don't know exactly where the "Dark Knights" come in but I do have to admit that an aromatherapy line is a pretty good idea as most people can and do use various scents and such to create a "mood". I've no idea what the price tag on these items will be and, to be frank, it probably will be more than I care to spend. There really is a good amount of places to get scents cheaper but I imagine the draw would be to support Street Child.

Prior to the charity evening yesterday, Sarah also attended the ISM, the international trade fair for sweets and snacks in Cologne, as Hermann Bühlbecker, the host of the Lambertz Monday Night 2019, is the Managing Director of the gingerbread and chocolate factory Lambertz, that also has a stand at the fair:

No. IMO, people take jabs at her because she ... fails to learn from her many mistakes, and provides ammunition to her critics to take jabs at her

The Duchess looks quite good in that black gown with her red hair.

I would imagine that the Duchess of York is in need of finding ways of making money that aren't too out there and unacceptable. My opinion on the matter is neutral. I have a friend who met the Duchess once years ago at a book-related function in New York.

But it's a bit of bad form if she spoke with Piers Morgan. It might help if DoY Sarah could find someone discreet and reputable who could help her with style, image and etiquette advice. She doesn't need to completely change her personality, but there is seemingly a learning curve issue. Good luck to her and her charitable projects.

I have to agree with the point that Sarah is making. The tabloids are trying to portray Catherine and Meghan at war, just as they did with Diana and Sarah. Obviously happy families don't generate clicks in the way that warring women do. Having said that, two comments:

> In recent weeks, the DM seems to have dropped their story about Catherine and Meghan not getting on. The Markle's appear to make better copy!

> A lot of the "hate" that Meghan is apparently facing seems to be generated on social media. The problem with social media is that everybody has the ability to voice their opinion, and often, that opinion, if anonymous, can often be driven by all sorts of frustrations and pressures none of which may be related to Meghan per se.

Duchess of York about the International Women's Day today:
