The outfit is very unflattering but I understand that Carla wants to pursue a career in acting therefore she needs to be seen in public. The fact that she is Letizias niece will help getting an invitation for such events :whistling:

No her daughter Amanda Martin-Llop I think is 12/13 and from her relationship with Enrique Martín-Llop.

I think he was a lawyer too.

Amanda was born in 2008, I think Enrique and Thelma split up a few years later after an unsuccessful lawsuit against the press. When Thelma married Letizia's former lawyer Jaime del Burgo in 2012, Enrique prevented her to live with Amanda and her new husband in New York, therefore Thelma settled in Barcelona, where she has lived since. The marriage to del Burgo only lasted a few years and remained without issue.


Good luck with the new baby, a pregnancy with 47 is really risky.

Telma Ortiz currently lives in Madrid with her current boyfriend and daughter.
I think she moved from Barcelona to Madrid with her daughter last year.

According to the Spanish press, Queen Letizia's grandmother died in her house in Ribadesella. Causes of death are unknown.

As SEMANA has learned, the farewell to Queen Letizia's grandmother, will take place on Wednesday July 28 privately.

According to the family's forecasts, the Asturian woman will receive a Christian burial in the El Carmen cemetery, in the Asturian town of Ribadesella, where the remains of her husband, José Luis Ortiz, and her daughter Cristina Ortiz, who died as a result of stomach cancer. Her funeral will be familiar and intimate, and she will have nothing to do with the protocol that prevails in the acts of the Royal Family. Following the express wish of the Queen's grandmother, her funeral will take place in the strictest privacy.

My condolences to the Queen and her family. Sad news... At 93 Menchu lived a long life- she was able to see her great grandchildren. May she rest in peace
 
The king is in Peru and I doubt he will make it to the funeral if it takes place today.
 
The family celebrated a very simple prayer in the cemetery, with the assistance of Menchu's children, her sister and some relatives from Asturias. The queen, her sister and their daughters have not attended. It seems that, as happened with the death of Rocasolano's grandparents, they wanted everything to be very discreet and intimate, to avoid the media circus.

According to the local press, Menchu had been at home in poor health for several weeks, and the whole family was probably able to say goodbye to her while she was still alive.

The magazine makes a mistake ... the young woman is not Ana's daughter, she is Claudia, Henar's daughter. Claudia was one of Queen Letizia's bridesmaids.

“When the press published that my granddaughter was going to marry the then Prince of Asturias, we began to receive many phone calls from friends and family who asked us if it was true or not. She is not telling that much (very wise) but still give a nice insight into Letizia's grandmother's life and a bit into her relationship with Letizia; asking whether she was crazy to consider marrying the prince of Asturias and giving up her life as she knew it... "But I'm in love with him..."

My sentiments exactly. My goodness.

Unless this song was supposed to be cathartic or a form of closure- she sounds more angry than free to me.
