I find Sara Alpysovna's absence quite unusual. She could have enjoyed the chance to converse with Queen Rania about her initiatives and causes she participates in. As a rule, our First Lady does not to accompany President Nazarbaev to certain countries such as Saudi Arabia, Bahrain or Qatar.

I am unaware of any special engagements that can not be postponed. Sometimes Dariga Nazarbaeva, the eldest daughter, would step in for Sara Alpysovna. This visit appears to be strictly focused on business.
