I'm sure HIS betrayal would have devastated Diana much more than anything anyone else has done. I really have no time for him or Harry not just for the aforementioned reason but because of the remote self-indulgent lifestyle they lead. Contrary to what Diana wished they seem to be very out of touch with ordinary people and their friends appear snobbish and boorish in the extreme.

But I look forward to when he becomes king b/c I am sure his true feelings will come out. I am sure his cosying is just for public display in the wishes taht evrything will stabilize and so that there will not be any speculations and such. To me, camilla is having her fun, but when William becomes King everything will be set the way they really shoudl be. And he will honor his mum.

I can't imagine Great Britian parting with such a treasure as Diana's wedding gown, especially since she's now deceased. I still miss herrchainho said:Princess Diana's wedding dress auctioned for $2 million (Contact Music News, June 3 2005)QUOTE]

Elspeth said:I'm sure he'll honour his mum, but if Camilla outlives Charles I don't think we'll see anything like William snubbing her in public. If nothing else, I hope he'll bear in mind the awful publicity that Charles Spencer incurred by literally turning his stepmother out of Althorp as soon as his father died, and will behave with more class and consideration toward Camilla than Charles Spencer did toward Raine.
Reina said:I don't think, nor do I hope, that William will treat camilla like Charles Spencer did Raine. I hope he gives his mom back the style of HRH and that camilla is put more in the background.

Incas said:Countess Spencer's name was Raine, not Rania, that's the current Queen of Jordan. And Diana called Raine "acid Raine", not "anti-Rania". Anyhow, I saw pictures of Diana and Raine together, lunch & social gatherings, after her divorce. They were together at the Christie's viewing for the dress auction in London. So I don't think Diana hated her step-mother, more like a child's grudge against anyone taking away her father's affection. The only other explanation would be Diana was in desperate need of friends at the end of her life, even an "evil step-mother" was welcome.
I saw that report, too - but can't imagine how she could be on the cell phone, as fast as they were going in the car. I also saw where they're still trying to "prove" she was pregnant, even though it's already been proven she wasn't.iowabelle said:I was just surfing the web and have seen several stories reporting results of the French investigation into Diana's death. The French are reporting that Diana was on her cell phone at the time of the crash and they are seeking the person she was speaking with.
(If it's true, I wonder why they couldn't find this person earlier, it doesn't seem to be hard to figure out who's been called on a cell phone.)
Idriel said:Diana's astrologist and friend Penny Thornton has been arrested by the police in Surrey for selling cannabis hidden in chocolate bars.
She will be judged on the 5th of September.
Is that a funny new? You tell me, I'm really lost .

What do you mean? That this story is untrue or that is it true but that she is victim of a plot?portergirl said:I've known Penny for many years personally and I will vouch that she's a very solid person - this is a ridiculous charge against her!
Yes, you may know her, and she may be a "solid" woman, but to suggest that one of Diana's astrologers is a victim of a "plot" (the next question being "by whom?"), eight years after Diana's death, is really stretching credibility.portergirl said:I mean that the charge is untrue and that it may be a "plot", in the sense that someone somewhere is just out to give Diana's supporters a bad time.
