So to see it is an older chart as it shows Henri d'Orléans and not his son Jean as Orléanist pretender.


And the inclusion of the Bonapartes is wrong. The question is: "Who would be King?". The Bonapartes never were King in France.

Strictly speaking, no claim to the (defunct) French throne is valid now as everything on which those claims are based, be it the common law of the Kingdom of France, the constitution of the July Monarchy, the Napoleonic constitution, or whatever, have been strictly speaking superseded by the laws and constitutions of the French Republic, none of which acknowledge the legal existence of the throne.

But, in any case, if we want to play this game and ignore that the Republic has ever been installed, it seems to me that the Orléans have a stronger claim than D. Luis Alfonso.
