Queen Sofía has never worn a mantilla during the flag oaths. She wore a mantilla when she was godmother of a new flag that was delivered to a military company.

Yes queen has,but no mantilla.

For her first big engagement of 2024, Doña Sofía wore a design by Escada she had previously worn in 2004 for the Naval Combat Flag Presentation in Barcelona, and on the last day of the Chinese State Visit in 2005.
