This is a amethyst necklace and part of the parue which the amethyst tiara belongs to
Queen Silvia used one (or two) bracelet(s) and a brooch to form this necklace in mid 1980's

The big diamond cross pendant. I think that the earliest picture I've seen of it beeing worn is on a post card of Queen Sofia. The photo must have been taken around 1860s.

This necklace is a sapphire, pearl and diamond necklace. It was a gift from Crown Prince Gustaf (late Gustaf V) to his wife Princess (late Queen) Victoria (née Baden) when they came home to Sweden after their wedding. Both Crown Princess and Princess Lilian has worn the necklace.

The necklace plus matching earrings, bracelet & brooch (the last two rarely worn) are modern, and they were a gift to the Queen by the King in the mid-eighties.

Ugh, having some problems with writing messages...

Anyway, Dear Josephine. Have you already noticed, regarding the necklaces, how different lenghts there seems to be. I think I lost the count...

The picture of Q Silvia wearing the black pearl necklace (message number 60 on that locked thread) shows also a flower brooch. The origin and material of it was mentioned in the relatively new book of Q Silvia, if I remember correctly.

I think that the modern green stone necklace is of emeralds and forms an demi-parure with earrings.

The other demi-parure is probably of tourmalines (and other coloured gemstones). It's really interesting design. The earrings don't show properly on the Corbis pic, I'm afraid:
