HM The Queen will receive the Special Envoy of HE The President Lee Myung Bak of South Korea,Mrs.Park Geun-Hye,
Huis ten Bosch Palace on friday april 29th.

Mrs.Park Geun-Hye visits all European countries South Korea enjoys bi-lateral diplomatic relations with for the past 50 years.

The other European countries are Portugal and Greece.

No State Visit from Ireland,a 3 day working visit starting...

HM will receive Irish President Mary McAleese in Audience at Noordeinde Palace on tuesday may 3rd.President McAleese will visit The Netherlands from sunday may 1st till tuesday may 3rd.Not a State Visit.

...this sunday may 1st,but President McAleese and her husband will be received in Audience by HM on tuesday,followed by a lunch.

The President will visit the International Court of Justice,the International Criminal Court,the Mauritshuis Musem and the European Space Agency ESA.

HM The Queen,represented by Her Chief of the Military House,General-Major Henk Morsink,will take the salute at the Binnenhof,The Hague today to commemorate the fierce fighting for the military airports Ockenburg and Ypenburg in may 1940 by the Regiments of the Grenadiers and Jagers,(my Regiment),and re-conquere both airports from German parachutists thus allowing Queen Wilhelmina to board a ship to England,against her will as she was lead to believe the ship would go to the Province of Zeeland.

40 Military will be installed in the Regiment,now combined but still two separate Regiments when I joined the Jagers.The ceremony will take place with 450 Grenadiers and Jagers in full ceremonial dress.Great sight!

There has always been a strong bond between The Royal House and these two particular Regiments,founded in 1829 as the Kings Life Guards by HM King Willem I.

With todays ceremony The Hague has an old tradition back for the first time in many years,when the regiments marching on a weekly bases through the city,remembering all they once guarded the Residence as The Hague is often referred to.

HM The Queen received The Elders privately at the Oude Loo Castle in Apeldoorn last weekend where shortly before she had opened the exhibition on Princess Máxima.On sunday they all took a ride in carriages on the estate,Desmond Tutu,Kofi Annan,Richard Branson and ofcourse Princess Mabel & Prince Friso and their children.The Elders stayed at the nearby hotel de "Keizershof",once the property of HM Queen Wilhelmina.

Queen Beatrix attended the opening of the new wide school de Groenling in Oude Pekela.
The wide school is a bulding for 3 elementary schools, 2 kindergartens, a municipal health department and a gym. May 13, 2011
