Maxima was just glowing and I also like this outfit.
Yes, she did. And I loved it so much back then! Luckily she decided to wear it again, because it really suits her!Marengo said:I like the coat and the hair seems tamed to. Didn't she already wear this for the opening of her sisters exhibition of paintings last year?

mirrjam said:That is right! And I am most sure that she did not drink the whole glass. She probrably takes a sip from time to time..
Empress said:Just so everyone is aware, it is very normal in the Netherlands, and in fact Europe, to have other drinks, such as juice or milk, or other offered in wine glasses at events that are somewhat more "formal" or Business or entertainment.
I would be willing to be that it is not wine.

We don't know much of her.
She is Ottoline Antoinette ('Lieke') Gaarlandt van Voorst van Beesd, aged 59 and since 1993 Hofdame in the personal service of Her Majesty The Queen. There are six Hofdames, under supervision of the Grandmastress (the Mistress of the Robes).

Henri M. said:Maybe we Europeans have a different attitude to wine. I always and ever drink wine, every day, when I'm having my main meal.
Henri M. said:There is a difference in binge drinking, drinking lots of beer or drinking one glass of wine or champagne so now and then.
What is wine? It is just fermented juice of fruits. No more, no less. Actually a glass of wine a day is considered to be a very important part of a healthy diet.
Remember that softdrinks like Pepsi often have artificial colouring, sweeteners and modified enriched ingredients. In Europe these drinks are considered more risky than a glass of wine a day.
And see how beautiful and blossoming Princess Catharina-Amalia and Princess Alexia do look like....
