You already should know about the german mags reputation -_- , massive crap and lies center  . That from the pic wasn't even reported in Spain or in another place ;) But, from ES we can expect everything  I saw in a tv program that a offer was made to her to write a book about her relationship with Felipe

If you see the news treat of Felipe, you will see that is agenda is quite full, yesterday in the morning he was in Galizia to gave some awards and at the end of the afternoon he was already in Tenerife, Canarias, where he will innagurate the new city auditorium and where, during the weekend, he will participate in the Prince Felipe Sailing trophy. So, you see, in that front he isn't quiet :p  .

I have a question about Felipe and the type of girl people want him to marry- I don't know if this belongs in this thread, so sorry if it should be somewhere else.

Do you think the Felipe would ever marry a much younger girl, kind of like Charles and Diana? Would that be looked down upon by the Spanish, or if she were a 'suitable' girl, would it be accepted? Though I do think it would be kind of odd seeing him marry a 22 year old, (just as it did when Charles married a 19 year old) perhaps it could work.

I suppose he would if he was in love with her. If he wasn't in love with her I doubt it.

"8 OCTUBRE 2003

Oct 8th Article:

Last week, Prince Felipe showed up in a popular disco in downtown Madrid, where he and a group of friends enjoyed a nice evening . The Crown Prince, who was wearing a brown leather jacket and a pair of dark jeans, had spent the morning meeting with the National Commission of the Media Market, and in the evening he decided to go out with his friends to spend a few hours in a relaxed ambience.

The farewell

Within the group, BTW, there were several young women who, when saying goodbye to Felipe de Borbón, made evident their close friendship with him; there were even one or two hugs. As we found out, the group shared music and dance until the moment they decided to take off to go back to their own places. It was when they were saying goodbye, that the media could shoot the tender pictures of the young women with the prince; as you can see in some of these pictures. It’s also interesting that the same night, the popular star of the the Fresh Prince of Bel Air show, actor Will Smith, was also there. He had come to Spain to promote his new movie.

Handsome Felipe;)

This is a bit off topic - but i've just observed that the PRESENT BEAUTIFUL CROWN PRINCESSES' name all starts with the letter M:

Mathilde of Belgium
Mette-Marit of Norway
Maxima of the Netherlands
Masako of Japan
Marie Chantal of Greece
Mary of Denmark (well, soon... though IMO she's not really as pretty as the others)

Then maybe Felipe should look for a nice pretty lady whose name starts with a letter M  :p

Madeleine of Sweden  :p Queen Sofia will surely approve that relationship- she's royal and all that  :p

And maybe Prince William too will consider Madeleine of Sweden. Or they make look for a certain Mena, Mira, Marilyn, Margaret, etc... :p

Then in the future we'll have beautiful Queens whose names starts with letter M
just like now we have Beautiful Queens whose names starts will letter S

Sonja of Norway
Silvia of Sweden
Sophia of Spain

Haven't you noticed? the present Queens whose names doesn't start with letter S are - they inherited the title - they are not commonners who married husbands with the title that made them Queens  :p

And the younger generation royal heirs - their name starts with a vowel

Aiko of Japan
Elisabeth of Belgium

then maybe, Haakon&Mette-Marit or Alex & Max could name their baby Emma of Erik  :p

Just for Laughs...

Hello everyone!! Does anyone know when the Prince of Asturias Awards is gonna show in TVE?? I know it's supposed to be on October 24, but I can't figure out what time....thanks!!

INAUGURACIÓN DE LA II CONFERENCIA EUROPEA SOBRE DESARROLLO RURAL DE LA UNIÓN
Salzburgo. Austria

translation courtesy of
http://www.translation.langenberg.com/
Thursday, 13 of November of 2003 INAUGURATION OF the II EUROPEAN UNION CONFERENCE ON RURAL DEVELOPMENT.  Salzburg, Austria.
http://europa.eu.int/comm/agriculture/even...rg/index_en.htm

12-14 November 2003, Salzburg (Austria):
"2nd European Conference on Rural Development"

His Royal Highness D. Felipe De Borbón y Grecia, Prince of Asturias, chairing the opening session.

The Salzburg conference is a follow-up to the Cork Conference on Rural Development (1996) which launched a wide debate on rural development policy. That process culminated in the Agenda 2000 reforms, which saw rural development policy established as the second pillar of the Common Agricultural Policy.

The conference is being held at a crucial time in the preparation of Community policy for rural areas for post-2006 and in the run-up to the publication of the 3rd Cohesion Report at the end of 2003. Rural policy will need to evolve to meet new challenges within an enlarged European Union.

The conference provides an opportunity for a wide reflection on the experience of the current generation of rural development programmes running from 2000-2006, and draw lessons and conclusions for the next generation of programmes during the period 2007-2013.

The conference brings together the major stakeholders in rural development within the EU. Participants include representatives of the EU-15 Member States and Acceding Countries, of other European Institutions, national and regional programme management authorities, Leader groups, a wide range of sectoral associations and NGO's, international organisations, academics and experts, all of whom are crucial to the success of this policy.
