Today, November 22, King Philippe attended a session at the Federal Parliament in Brussels to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the throne speech of King Albert I.

Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel visited King Philippe at the Royal Castle of Laeken this evening to offer the resignation of his government to King Philippe. According to the Palace "The King reserves his decision".

King Philippe, Current Events, Part 2 (Sept. 2017 - present)

Today the King will start consulting the presidents of all different parties.

It is the federal government that has fallen.
We will see if they decide to have early elections or that they will wait until 26th May when they would have happened anyway together with the European and Regional elections.
