The King talked about how he committed and followed the work four architects have put on the new gardens.
- We have opened a new section here in the park at Solliden and it's the old, old croquet pitch as Gustav V, played croquet on which we have now done a Themed garden, he says.
A large part of the royal family is gathered to Solliden on these hot summer days. Princess Madeleine and Prince Nicolas, just over two weeks old, are feeling both good according to the royal couple.
Queen Silvia told:
- They are doing just fine. We are happy that we are all together now. Also the Crown Princess with her little family and both Princess Madeleine and the children. There are many of us, it is smooth and nice. Little Nicolas is doing very well. He has grown little. It's fun to see him every day and see how he develops.
All except Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia, spend time together in the summer idyll this week.
The king and queen are delighted that prince Nicolas' cousin and sister take care of the new member of the royal family.
- Little Estelle and Leonore take care of him and will look after him. It's great to be at Solliden, said the queen, and the king continues:
- We spend time with the whole family and have a good time.
