The Global Reporting Initiative website says Rania will be a keynote speaker on Wednesday at its conference in Amsterdam. She will be part of the afternoon session that begins at 2 p.m.

AMMAN - His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday was presented the Amman Master Plan, which seeks to provide clear direction for sustainable development of the capital until the year 2025.
Also yesterday, the Monarch laid the foundation stone of the multimillion-dinar King Abdullah Park, which is expected to serve one million residents of Muqablain and the surrounding areas, providing inhabitants of east Amman with breathing space.

QWEISMEH - His Majesty King Abdullah announced on Monday several key projects to be implemented in east Amman over the coming two years to eliminate the gap between this part of the capital and the more affluent west Amman neighbourhoods.
He told community leaders here that changes envisioned would be implemented in line with a comprehensive development plan to be launched in the coming months

AMMAN (JT) - Her Majesty Queen Rania on Monday launched the latest Situation Analysis of Children in Jordan, bringing some welcome news about the Kingdom’s progress.
The report, which was prepared by the National Council for Family Affairs (NCFA) and UNICEF with the participation of several governmental and nongovernmental organisations, as well as a number of youth representatives, hails Jordan as a role model for progress in improving the quality of life of its young citizens and identifies current challenges.
