Yes, He has a very good relations with the Sultan of Oman & his family.Sultan Qaboos also visited Jordan many times before.

Thans do you know the date of previuos visit (during 2010)?
I know it KH had too nice relation with the Sultan.

I dont think he visited jordan This year .. he did in previous years.

Queen Rania visits Shafa Badran Orphanage to follow up on Al Aman Fund activities
Amman, Dec. 5 (Petra) -- Her Majesty Queen Rania visited today the Shafa Badran Orphanage to follow up on Al Aman Fund activities, check on the outcomes of its Ramadan campaign, and meet orphans gathered from different orphanages there. At the orphanage, Her Majesty first met with a group of orphans who participated in the Aman Fund summer camps. These camps, which benefited more than 450 orphans, were aimed at training the orphans several skills including social and work place skills, self-defense and several other extra-curricular activities. After hearing from the some of the orphans about their experience in the camps, Her Majesty encouraged the students to further develop the skills they learnt and to continuously pursue the ones that are most relevant to their individual personalities and interests more

That's good work on the part of Rania - orphans should always be extremely taken care of and encouraged to enhance their potential skills & hobbies. Moreover, it's nice to see the Queen in good form again.

In a meeting with Queen Rania, Mr Rudd announced $100,000 support for an education partnership with UNICEF and the Madrasati initiative in Jordan.

“The Madrasati initiative is a grass roots program that enjoys support from Queen Rania.

:previous:The visit seems to have taken place yesterday (December 17).
I guess Petra only covers her 'official' engagements. There have been several similar visits recently that haven't been covered by the news agency.

Lady Gaga has a concert in Paris but apparently it has been cancelled due to heavy snow. So, I guess the family are in Paris :)
