Queen Victoria gave her grandson Prince Albert Victor the title of Duke of Clarence and Avondale, and Prince George - Duke of York. At this moment it is uncertain if/what peerage he will get.

She will be HRH Princess William of Wales and possibly Duchess of Something or Countess of Something, but until that happens it is all speculation. Unless of course they get married when Charles is King, then she will automatically be Duchess of Cornwall and most likely Princess of Wales.

You're right Oppie, I was going under the assumption that the Queen would grant William a royal dukedom upon marriage since that is traditionally how its done.

She may not; she only made Edward an Earl but she at least granted him a title so I think she would do the same for William. As you say, whether its a dukedom or an earldom remains to be seen.

I somehow think the Queen will live long enough for William to get married in her lifetime but that again is speculation.

Is the police officer looking at her legs?

I think he was a traffic warden and he was probably smirking because he managed to book another poor motorist, double whammy because of who she was.
P.S
I love what Kate was wearing :flowers:

Or Kittycat, come to think of it. Free Willy from his Kittycat's claws... :ROFLMAO:
Oh Wow! Meow..... I just adore this. :p

Free Willy?

Kittycat's claws?

Why do I think those quotes are going to haunt us 'til forever. :whistling:

As has often been said..."Laughter is the best medicine". Thank you Jo, from the bottom of my heart. :flowers:

Wit is the very best way to start the New Year! :ROFLMAO: :bounce: :ROFLMAO:

Kate has certainly started dressing more 'trendy' since starting her job at JIGSAW, I have noticed she has more accessories these days.

Sad that her getting a ticket is news, the press is so annoying at times.

I think it's quite obvious he recognised her, especially with the photographer there as well. He saw it as his chance to grab 5 seconds of fame. He will be showing the picture to his friends (if he has any).

Some of them are such slime!

Tut tut tut. So she's not the messiah after all.

At least she laughed about the incident, bless her!;)

Yes, it's always nice when one can laugh about breaking the law. Ronnie Biggs must be helpless with laughter.

Oh please. She didn't notice a sign. Not quite the same as Ronnie Biggs!

Another thing to take into account is that resident parking permits cost an absolute fortune in London, will the council give her a refund on her permit? Unless they sent a letter to every holder telling them that parking would be suspended for that day, surely they are in breach of contract! She wasn't breaking the law, they were!

If you break the law, you break the law. Simple. Nice she takes it so seriously. Then again, I imagine Daddy took care of the £100.

Why Daddy¿! Isnt she working, I bet she can afford those 100 pounds

Oh guys, this is a parking ticket, not a murder or whatsoever.

Breaking the law?! Yes, she got a parking ticket...but let's not act like she killed or robbed someone. We need to relax? And she didn't look outraged...she looked like most of us we get a parking ticket...just annoyed.

No she didn't. She stood there and laughed. It's nice she can violate parking laws and laugh when she's fined £100. Personally I find it a bit tacky.

What would you have had her do? Apologize profusely for breaking the law or scream at the guy because he was just doing his job? What behavior should she have shown that would have been acceptable to you?How do you react when you get a parking ticket?

I see the debate over william gf still rages on. It seems the media will report on anything, perhaps even if she sneazes

She shouldn't have got a parking ticket in the first place. Some role model. It's not a big issue, in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter and I would have reacted the same way. But it's her, I don't like her and so I can criticise her whatever she does. And that's life.

This is not fresh news folks! we discussed this already. Hello! couldn't even get the right pics to match the story! In the correct pics she looks upset- It's the cop who laughed.

Its Hello, can't have their favorite royal girlfriend with unflattering picture, arguing with a warden over parking on an illegal spot ;)

The fourth picture in the second row on the front page of www.colourpress.com has the caption “Kate Middleton gets an early morning police escort on her way to work. Does anyone know if this is really true ? And if it is, I hope her dad is paying for this police escort and not the tax payers. Otherwise I foresee a big argument not only here on the forums but in whole Great Britain.

She's got a police escort? As you say Coquine - daddy better be paying for that or I shall be writing a stern letter to Gordon Brown requesting that money isn't used to fund her lifestyle.

Wow, if a parking ticket is indicative of a rotten soul, what would happen if she ever got a speeding ticket? Or god forbid, forgot to renew her license plates? Or accidentally left a label on a glass bottle in the recycling bin?

This woman is a menace!!

It looks like one of those shots where she is passing the policewoman and a photographer has seized the opportunity to take a photo and make some extra money! Still I'm sure we all wait with bated breath!
