I beleive but I'm not totally sure it's Oscar de la Renta as exactly the Qeen the last year.

Elena looked so beautiful, over the years we have seen her in several black and white evening dresses and it's always been quite impressive! Instead of visiting the Guggenheim museum in New York, Elena and Jaime could have also come to Germany, there's a big collection of Guggenheim pictures shown here for some months..;) :)

Dukes of Lugo inaugurate exhibition of Spanish painting

The infanta Elena and her husband, Jaime de Marichalar, Dukes of Lugo, inaugurated this night in the Museum Guggenheim of New York the exhibition ' Spanish Painting of the Greek one to Picasso: Time, Truth and History '.
It is a question of a retrospective of 135 works, that they come from more than 70 collections institutional and deprived of the whole world and that it offers a wide historical panorama of the Spanish painting of last five centuries.

The exhibition organized by the Foundation Guggenheim and the State Society for the Cultural Action in the Exterior (SEACEX), will remain opened until March 28, 2007.

After the inauguration a dinner of show was celebrated in the own museum, presided by the Dukes of Lugo and which they attended more than one hundred of guests, between whom there were appearing Carlos Westendorf, ambassador of Spain in the USA, and Juan António Yáñez-Barnuevo, chief of the mission of Spain before the UN, besides representatives of the world of the culture.

The sample organized by topics, and not for chronological order like it is in the habit of doing habitually, gathers compositions of, between others Zurbarán, Murillo, Velázquez, Goya,Gris , Miro and Dalí.

The works monks have classified under fifteen different topics, between them, taverns, landscapes, the domestic world, women publicly and tearful women.

Between other sections the virgins and mothers stand out, nudes, childhood, monsters, gentlemen and ghosts, ladies, crucifixions, fallen and rockets
The work of Goya ' Children of the Cart ', who was foreseen that was forming a part of the exhibition, could not appear, since it was stolen last week in Pennsylvania during movement to New York from the Museum of Art of Toledo, in Ohio (USA).

Elena looks outstanding! Love the gold tones on her! Wonderful choice. Very confortable looking and elegant at the same time and her smile definately completes the outfit!

The dukes of Lugo have dinner with the Grimaldi in Las Golondrinas

It was an authentic dinner of princes, included the partridges and the happy mien of the retainers. Carolina of Monaco and her husband Ernest of Hannover, that as it advanced yesterday EL PERIODICO they have decided to pass the week end accompanied by their four children in the hunting complex Santa Cristina, to approximately 20 kilometres of Caceres, they received on Saturday the visit of the infanta Elena and Jaime de Marichalar to sup on together in the house - palace Las Golondrinas, placed in the same estate. The infanta had the detail of moving up to the estate to greet her cousin Ernest of Hannover. She came in the night together with her husband, they shared an animated dinner, where they wanted to receive even a chat distended on the patrimony of Caceres, and both families divided in the morning after staying in the estate.

Carolina and its family arrived at the property Thursday, and not Friday as it extended at first. Indeed they dedicated all the day of Friday to the hunting and had lunch in the Alberguerías, a beautiful house palaciega in the middle of the meadow between Cáceres and Trujillo. They took a simple menu, viandas light like roasted potatoes and Cake of Casar, a product that makes the delights of the Monegasque family and for that reason their host, Fernando Diaz de Bustamante, one is always in charge to have victualed well them.

The infanta Elena visited yesterday Mario Caprile's ardent chapel

The infanta Doña Elena came yesterday, on Wednesday, to the Tanatorio of Laredo's Regional Hospital, in private visit, to bear witness to her condolence and that of the Royal Family to the relatives of Mario Caprile Stucci, who died at the last hour of Tuesday.

The infanta came to Laredo proceeding from the airport vizcaíno from Loiyu, where she arrived in regular flight. At the last hour, for problems of flight, the infanta Cristina did not come.

The visit was realized on 8 a.m. ce the evening and as this newspaper could have known itwas very emotive. Not uselessly, it is necessary to indicate, that one of the daughters of the late one, Marisa, was the governess of the infantas, and her brother, the famous designer, Lorenzo Caprile, was the author of the wedding dress of Dona Cristina and of several of the models that there dressed the princess of Asturias, Dona Leticia, when she married with the prince, Don Felipe.
