Princess Sofia of Sweden Jewels 2: 2018 -

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
I really wish Sofia would wear a different tiara at the next Gala event.

I don't think she has one. I think they gave her that one, and that's all she gets. She swaps out the stones to make it seem like she has more options, but she really doesn't. The same is true for Princess Marie of Denmark. She has the one and that's it. Sure, it would be great to see both of them in something different for a change, but it's probably not going to happen. Especially when Victoria and Madeleine have daughters, though that's probably more likely for Estelle than Adrienne/Leonore.

She has worn tiaras from the Family foundation before (when her own tiara was changed) so she has access to them. And she also wears brooches, earrings etc. from them foundations.
This isn't the case in Denmark where Jewels are not shared at all, but each royal Lady only wears their own Jewels (with the exception of the Queen)

Princess Marie has solved the matter by a long term loan of tiaras belonging to a jewelry house I believe.: the Flora Danica tiara and the Nuites Claires tiara of Maison Mauboussin. Though in Sofia's case such loans would be odd as the Swedish collection is used by various family members, including Queen Silvia's sisters-in-law.

IIRC she mostly sticks to her wedding tiara after it has been altered, so I believe it's just the most comfortable piece for her. And as other poster suggests it's not that she cannot access to other piece of the family. It doesn't like that she has no choice to me, instead it's her choice to stick to her wedding one.

There’s no doubt she has access to the family vaults. But it’s strange she’s not worn many other tiaras

Yeah Sofia is definitely not being restricted from wearing other tiaras. My theory, in addition to her just preferring her tiara, is that Carl Philip and Sofia moved to their private home Villa Solbacken in mid-2017, and while not restricted, she may have to follow certain protocols when it comes to using the SRF tiaras and it may not be worth the hassle, especially since she seems to also be having fun making adaptations to her wedding tiara. I think other jewels like brooches are less of a hassle since it does not involve the added dimension of hair styling.

Not long after they married, Carl Philip and Sofia moved in with the King and Queen, so they were on royal property and that is when Sofia wore tiaras from SRF collection. I am not 100% sure but I think that Sofia has only worn her wedding tiara since the 2017 Nobels, and don't think that it is a coincidence that she stopped wearing SRF tiaras when she moved to her private home. I hope in the future that she will wear SRF tiaras every now and again, but I think we will mostly be seeing her in her wedding tiara unless she acquires another personal one.

With her multiple sets of gemstone, actually I hope to see her using two sets of stones at once, like using the two sets of blue topazs together, or the turquoises with pearls as the toppers which the two sets of stones placed alternatively (maybe she can try the Sweden flag colour...... citrine with blue topaz:swedenflag2:......😜 )

Good theory. I can easily understand that she feels she doesn't want to spend three hours with the hairdresser whith three small boys at home. This tiara is now so adapted to her head that she probably can just plop it on her flowing mane.
My theory has been that maybe she's like me, I can't even wear a hair pin for more than a short amount of time without contracting a booming headache. I would also need a tiara sculpted exactly to suit my head.
If I owned this pretty and versatile little tiara, I wouldn't chose to wear anything else either.
And, honestly, what else is there for her to chose from that is nicer?

the same tiara setting worn at Nobelfest 2022!

I hope you don't mind me playing with jewellery designs (I don't know if there is a better thread for this)... I think they could choose red tourmalines or spinels for the tiara. It is a really nice design that could be quite extravagant even if the design is changed a bit. As much as I love briolettes, do the stones always need to be in that shape? This is what it might look like with another kind of design and tourmalines.
