I really love her blouse (beautiful color, I have a jacket with that color)! The boots are great, wish I had ones for myself. I don't care much about the skinny jeans though, it looks too severe.
 
No they aren't as bad as yoga pants...however myself I wish she'd wear something not so tight. I don't think she looks vulgar or cheap etc..I just don't think she should wear that type of pant to an event even if it is a outdoor/kids event.

Much as I dislike Kate’s penchant for wearing leggings, I think the description of ‘vulgar and cheap’ is totally inappropriate with all its connotations with unseemly behaviour. To say you find them too close fitting to the body would be perhaps a fairer way of stating the point.

You can't wear jeggings to exercise, they're made of completely the wrong material and are not breathable at all. Jeggings, are made almost identical to a pair of skinny jeans, except they're stretchier which allows for greater movement.
 
The more I think about it, the more I realize that Kate *was* dressed appropriately for the Scouting event. Sure, she's the patron and the royal doing an engagement but... and this is a big but... she was participating with the Scouts outdoors. As a former Girl Scout leader for years, one quickly learns that when you're in with the gang, you're participating and doing what they're doing and a part of the whole scheme of things. Its *not* the appropriate time to wear one's "Sunday best". :D
 
Her pants may have been a bit too tight, and I do wish that she would find a good pair of jeans for these types of events, but there was absolutely nothing wrong or vulgar about her attire.

I dislike the jacket and shoes but I love the blouse. Beautiful color.
 
Catherine's jumper for the Scouts visit is gorgeous. Love the colour on her.

Yes I've wanted to see this outfit again and it looks lovely today.
 
Lovely outfit on the duchess today the brooch and earrings really add to the overall look.
 
Not a fan of the hat but I love the cut and colour of her outfit.
 
Eye of the beholder- I like the hat best!
She looks gorgeous.
 
Its one of the few McQueen outfits I really like - great colour & style!
 
I usually am not a fan of McQueen, when comes to Kate, seen one seen all.


That said this is one of the few I like. Its different, more sleek feel. Lovely :flowers:

Hate the fascinator, nothing new though, I never like those things.

Glad she added a brooch. Nice final touch ?
 
Very beautiful sleek look. Love the color, brooch and even her hat.
 
Catherine looked great at the Easter service. That shade of blue looks great on her and agree that it's a very sleek look.
 
Great to see this McQueen coat back - loved it in Sydney and was really nice again at Windsor. I would love to see more of her previous tour repeats coming back and getting a second wearing.
 
Catherine looks gorgeous. I love the shape of the coat and the color, which is excellent on her. I'm not as sure that I like the hat, I may have to think about that and see a few other photos.

I would prefer the coat to be less full, but otherwise she looks exquisite.
 
I'm back to say that after looking at several additional photos of the hat, I do really like it and think it's effective. There were a couple of angles that I think it looked a tiny bit awkward, but overall I think it works well and is a nice change from the cocktail percher.
 
For me Catherine's best accessory is her beautiful smile. She looks stunning today.
 
Love the color, love the whole look!
