Princess Eugenie of York and Jack Brooksbank: October 12, 2018

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
AW, they updated the Royal Family website's cover page with a picture of the couple. It has also been given its own category under the sorter (the icon with the two bars at the top of the page)

I love how official this wedding has been and am hoping that it leads to the York girls having their own profiles on the website with their charities added to the database.

Does anybody know where I can watch the full ceremony now? There seem to be only videos from the arrivals but nothing (except clips) from the ceremony. Thanks!

Nice turnout, especially from the celebs. Loved it.

Sophie, Countess of Wessex, Lady Gabriella, Crown Princess Marie-Chantal, and Mrs Pippa Matthews are my favourites. As expected, Lady Sarah Chatto stayed true to her signature style. Sofia Wellesley's ensemble was just all right as black colour did not become her well.

Princess Ekaterina's of Hannover hat aggravated an extremely awkward ensemble.

Jack was asked a few weeks ago if George was coming to the wedding and he said he wasn't sure if George could make it, so they obviously do know each other. How well is anyone's guess.

Amal was in the US. She was a keynote speaker at a scheduled Women's conference, so that could be one reason why they didn't attend.

Didn't the quote from Jack. Fair enough. Still, if there were close, George would've attended even without Amal. But if they aren't that close, there is obviously no need.

Yes, my thoughts also. Not shocked to hear that the Duke of York said these things. I often think that his vanity, pride and lack of tact truly get the best of him. The one thing I can say is that he loves his children, that is abundantly evident.

There were times during that interview where I wanted to say to him - why can't you be like that all the time? He came across as a loving father who was very proud of his daughter/s. As a result I gave that comment a 'pass' as the rest showed him at his best ... a man with a sense of humour and a proud and loving Dad. He didn't come across as pompous - as he can at times - but simply a Dad being asked about his daughter's upcoming wedding.

I have JUST realised that Eugenie and Jack didn't get married in the same spot at Henry and Meghan, they got married closer to the celebrity guests as opposed to being the choir. Why was that?

Update sorry, I've just watched on and they've moved up to the right place! Silly me.

So no evening reception then?

Eugenie and Jack has a ceremony very similar to that of Edward and Sophie. They met at the midpoint and then recited their vows at the alter —- the very same alter as Harry and Meghan.

Not necessarily. For one we have no idea what other committments Clooney may have had. Also, Camilla didn't attend and she's family. Over the years we've seen the royal family miss christenings and weddings and no one would accuse them of not being close.

My point is that unless they come out and discuss their relationship, we have no way of knowing how close Jack and George are. At this point all we know is that they do know one another and George was invited to the wedding.

Yep - realised this as the video went on. I'm only watching the ceremony now, i have updated my post!

Oh and do you know what I love that they entered the choir with the best man and Andrew! It was a perfect way of doing it.

There are parts of this wedding i found so unconventional, and then others i have loved.

I feel you're almost all being deeply unfair to Andrew and I'm not an Andrew fan; 90% of the time I feels he's a waste of perfectly good space. His comment came across to me as a bit of a joke akin to "if these two weren't such likeable people we could've made it much smaller". Typical good-natured father of the bride grumbling as he's going to have to foot the bill. I did not take it, in any way shape or form, as anything like a dig at Harry and Meghan and feel it's a real reach to do so. Some people are just good at gathering up friends through life and keeping those friendships with them.

It's unfortunate how some fans of Harry and Meghan have seen it as their duty to continually trash this wedding, day after day. I wondered what they'd find from this happy day to have a go at and this is clearly it. It's all just sad.

I just LOVE the look on Autumn and Peter's face when they see their girls!

Also I really didn't think the Greeks would be given such prominent of position, the three of them were sat next to Lady Louise.

I still need to watch about 90% of the wedding, but I just want to say that the church was stunning! St George may be my favorite royal wedding venue now. The flower choice was so rich. It added such romance to the atmosphere.

Poor Jack was so nervous, but he seems a good chap and very much in love. The both of them do! Blessings to them.

The Earl and Countess of Snowdon were there, in answer to a previous question. Serena had a very colorful outfit.

Also, in addition to those mentioned, attendees included Tamara Beckwith and her husband and Lynn Wyatt from Texas.

Thank you. I’ll take a look at the family arrivals again.

It was Sarah’s father’s proudest moment when Sarah curtsied to the Queen at the end of her and Andrew’s wedding; I wonder if it was the same for Andrew today?

Eugenie is by FAR the most beautiful royal bride in the BRF in modern times. She might not be as "conventionally" attractive as Kate and Meghan might be BUT she chose everything perfectly: tiara, makeup, dress.

EVERYTHING was perfect and her happiness just added to the convo, I have never seen her look more beautiful.

Absolutely radiant.

Jack wearing his glasses so he could see her walking down the aisle was the cutest thing, also his absolutely dumbstruck expression was priceless (complete heart eyes), you can see he ADORES this woman to the moon and back, when he said "Oh Eugenie, oh you break my heart", I was like OMG ❤️

I think Eugenie is REALLY well liked by everyone in the family, they all looked thrilled to see her married, I think she comes off as a really nice person and they all love her very much, Beatrice was almost as happy as if it was her own wedding and Andrew showed the world just how much he loves his daughters, didn't hesitate to help with the dress at all times to make sure his little girl looked perfect.

All in all, my favorite wedding of the "young" generation of royals in the BRF.

It was really touching watching Andrew fix Eugenie’s train.

Eugenie really did nail her whole look- hair, tiara, dress, make up. She looked beautiful- and so happy.

No Oprah either and thank goodness those ghastly Beckhams didn't show up (for a change).

I wonder who that woman was with the navy dress and white hat, she arrived walking next to Holly Valance-Candy. Then she left the church with James Middleton, and held his arm all the way to Windsor Castle. Clearly, she's a well-meshed friend in their circle but I don't recognize her. Well, hopefully she gets identified in the pictures, eventually.

No Ferguson relatives?
According to another website Sarah's niece (daughter of Jane) posted pictures of the family at the wedding on Instagram.

The York family today were at their very best and shared their joy with those who wanted to be part of their happiness.
