When is School starting in Denmark ?
Is a bag this expensive an embarrassment for Mary? IMO yes.
Is a bag that is associated with deliberate animal cruelty an embarrassment? IMO yes. - .
An embarrassment years after she used it once?
And was the animal cruelty association known at the time?
But before we go too far, remember all this is based on a DRF-hostile reporter from Ekstra Bladet, whom Mary didn't want to answer a question from.
Is he? DRF hostile, I mean. Does he write hostile "articles" about other members of the DRF as well?
(Other than Mary and/or Frederik.)
Something like this was expected from EB: Lots and lots of nice, positive stuff and huge amounts of photos of qute kids for the past month from Gråsten, photo sessions, car races etc. They always come up with something nice in times like that
Is this the thing? http://ekstrabladet.dk/migration_ca...E_ALTERNATES/p900/Kronprinsparret i Bruxelles
Worn at a visit to Bruxelles just prior to her 40th birthday in 2012.
Price 221.000 DKK.
It was a present. - Not by Frederik though.
I've seen a picture PM'ed to me by another member, where she is using the bag (or what in my eyes seems to be the same bag) on a private visit to London. (During a winter, judging from Mary's clothes).
The same member suggested it was a present from Marie-Chantal.
I think it is wrong to kill crocodiles and any other animal for their skin, but since the bag is a present (because the bag isn't Mary's fault as she didn't buy it) and Mary has worn it before, it's old news so I don't have as big of a problem with it than I would if she brought it herself and this was the first time we'd seen her with it.
When the bag first made an appearence, was it identified as being made out of crocodile skin and were there any reactions to that in the Danish media?
Agree. You can hardly refuse a private present from another royal, who also happens to family. Albeit not that close.
As far as I know no one but Ekstra Bladet wrote about it back in 2012. I've treid but I haven't found anyone else writing about it. And so far no one else but EB (and Telegraaf who have translated word for word from EB) are writing about it now.
Thanks, Duke of Marmalade. That's the other picture.

Just want to say that at least here in the US, the meat is also sold for a variety of uses. Still not a big fan of the practice, but they can use the whole animal.I think it is wrong to kill crocodiles and any other animal for their skin, but since the bag is a present (because the bag isn't Mary's fault as she didn't buy it) and Mary has worn it before, it's old news so I don't have as big of a problem with it than I would if she brought it herself and this was the first time we'd seen her with it.

It must be those red pants that won him a spot
Adding my thanks to many others for your hard work and scans...I have copied the link because I often forget!Summary of article in Billed Bladet #34, 2015.
Written by Anna Johannesen.
Saturday afternoon on a sweltering summers day, M&G went to Holmens Kirke (The Naval Church, where the twins were christened) for the baptism of the daughter of their friends, Pernille and Bendt Wedell.
The daughter, named Ingeborg, was born five months ago on the island of Funen.
On a day to day basis the family, which includes two sons as well, live on the estate of Wedellsborg Gods on the island of Funen. http://historiskatlas.dk/image/52/57252.jpg
But they also have a mansion in Copenhagen and here the parents, sons and godfathers gathered for a photo shoot, before going to the church. That meant M&F arrived separately, because Frederik was one of six godfathers.
Instead Mary was accompanied by Jørgen and Malou Skeel and Søren Jessen, who owns a restaurant in London with his Irish wife, Flora Montgomery, who is an actress.
In the church, Mary was the highest ranking among the guests, so she sat alone up front, while Frederik sat with the other godfathers and the family.
The baptism was performed by a friend of the family, the retired (provst = a kind of senior priest, help FasterB!) Claus Harms.
The child voiced her sincere protest when she was christened Ingeborg Wilhelmine Alexandrine Korsbek Wedell-Wedellsborg.
After the baptism there was a glass of champagne and a dinner at the Wedell mansion.
(I'll later post an updated map of where their estate is located).
The other guests were basically one long list of older friends of M&F.
But see for yourselves here: https://app.box.com/s/ghee92w53k5q9xkd7irkt33hpm88e7jc
(There doesn't appear to be much interest in the scans, so from now on I'll only upload to TRF occasionally).

Summary of a Q&A in Billed Bladet #34, 2015.
Where a Anne Petersen would like to know about Ziggy and how old she is.
Jon Bloch Skipper informs us that Ziggy was a wedding present and that she was born 13th January 2005 and that M&F received the dog in April that year.
Danish Kennel Club was behind the gift.
Border collies become around twelve years old, although some live to become fourteen years.
