Crown Princess Mary as Patron of the Copenhagen International Fashion Fair (CIFF)
Press release from 13 January:
Quote:
HRH Crown Princess Mary agrees to be patroness for Copenhagen International Fashion Fair – the great twice yearly fashion meet at Bella Center that provides insight into all the latest trends.
Bella Center and The Federation of Danish Textiles & Clothing are looking forward to the first Copenhagen International Fashion Fair of 2005 with particular anticipation. Her Royal Highness Crown Prince Mary recently agreed to be patroness for the fair – an impressive tribute to the stature of this event.
Naturally, we are deeply honoured to have HRH Crown Princess Mary as our patroness. We know that she takes a great interest in the fashion industry and that she is admired both nationally and internationally for her style and sure sense of fashion," says Jens Bollerup-Jensen, President of The Federation of Danish Textiles & Clothing. Expectations with regard to the upcoming Copenhagen International Fashion Fair at Bella Center are unusually high. When the curtain rises on the event - the 24th in line - it is in the knowledge that CIFF last year rose to the top of the European fashion super league:
Copenhagen International Fashion Fair has become the biggest event of its type in Europe. The number of exhibitors is growing steadily, and is now approaching 900. More than 30 other countries are also represented in addition to Danish fashion suppliers," says Arne Bang Mikkelsen, Chief Executive of Bella Center.
Copenhagen International Fashion Fair will be held from Thursday 10 to Sunday 13 February at Bella Center.

Crown Princess Mary's Lady-in-Waiting, Countess Victoria Bernstorff-Gyldensteen, looks great! :) And they seem to have a nice time together too, which should be essential for their working relationship. I guess Mary finds great support in the Countess.
One more pic, this is from BT:

Mary nor the Countess appear too impressed with the pink boots (last picture) and I can't say that I blame them.
Thanks for all the great pics GrandDuchess.

Yes, who can blame them? I don´t like that ruffled look for boots. I mean they just look wrinkled. Great photos indeed, GrandDuchess.

Crown Princess Mary at the Copenhagen International Fashion Fair again today, this time she saw a streetwear runway show in Řksnehallen in Copenhagen. I must say that I'm really liking Mary's Lady-in-Waiting, Countess Bernstorff-Gyldensteen, she looks wonderful again today! Today they seemed to match their outfits. :)

Great photos, GrandDuchess! Mary does, again, look marvelous although I am not too sure I like the suede jacket over her green dress (or is it two-pieces?)... Is it the same jacket she wore during her engagement week? But, the green is a smashing color and looks wonderful on Mary.

Hmm, I like both her dress and her jacket, but together it looks.. odd! Nice colour tough... and I lover her haircut! She looks better when her hair is a little shorter.

I have to say I am so impressed with the number of engagements she is taking on (so many of them alone) and the way she has really embraced her new role. If you ask me she is as Royal as they come now - Blue blood or not! I think she is next in line to Mathilde and Maxima as far as work goes. They just have a head start on her!
Very impressed!

In terms of number of duties (and people can correct me on this), it seems to be Letizia, Mathilde or Mary, then Maxima. Maybe I'm just not aware of the correct number of engagements Maxima undertakes, but it doesn't seem like
