Thanks for all the pictures everybody! :)
An interesting observation: All the "older" ladies (Fabiola and Paola) chose black for their evening wear, while the "younger" ladies (Astrid, Claire, Mathilde) all chose fresh, bright colours.
I wonder if the royal ladies ever discuss in advance what they're going to wear to these functions?

This is by far, imo the Best Gala outift I have seen Princess Astrid wear.
She looked outstanding!!

I think Mathilde's dress is beautiful, but isn't it a little short? I also hate to be indelicate, but a little more support with a good bra would have given it a better line! and ditched the shawl - it's just frumpy.
but as I say - apart from that just beautiful!

Here's the last dose of pictures. Mathilde isn't wearing a dress. No her pants/skirt are not too short and I think for the rest every part of her body is exactly where it should be :p
