Oh thanks, that's why I asked because OK made to the US, and OK is very similar to Hola, but trashier in a kind of way. Hola/Hello has still the most beautiful and crisp pictures I've ever seen, and they do nice articles. I wish the Hello will come to US the pictures are better and bigger, and they don't chase celebrities down the streets, celebrities pose and they look a lot better. But is true there is a lot of magazines coming out of nowhere with the gossip and "scandals"?. Why don't they just get it the people that buy that kind of escapist magazine don't want to see people getting out the supermarket or getting into a taxi, they want the beauty, the fantasy and the fashion. BTW has the best dressed list made it to the internet yet? thanks a lot

i wonder if the real secret with Prince Albert is not that he was gay but that he like Robert DeNiro prefers black women, which would not be accepted in his social circles
I want to know why would he date someone for five years both knowing they could never be together? I also wonder if he even see his son he is absolutely gorgeous its amazing that the baby looks just like a Grimaldi. I hope Nicole finds true love and someone to raise that beautiful baby

You can buy English language copies of the European version of Hola and Hello but they are not specific for USA/focusing on Hollywood celebs versions like the 'new' OK!.

That's why I call him the techno prince. I hope he takes Monaco to a new dimension, modern, vibrant and tres chic, because Monaco is no longer the glamour capital of the world, you have to see the way people walk in the casino nowdays (shorts, sandals which it should not be a surprise, that the same way people are going to church, too).
Also heard, that "The Firm" aka BRF and "The Inc" aka Monaco RF are getting closer and cozy with each other, in the future you will see more of them together.

Our beloved prince is looking better. I love the middle picture, where he is finally looking into the camera. I think he is feeling better than a month ago, when he looked so terribly sad.

What is this about his social circle not accepting him to be with a black woman? I have no doubt that some in his society are prejudiced, but this is a large society! I don't think everyone in his "society" would be close-minded about him marrying a black woman. It might raise eyebrows, but I'm sure most people would get over it. I can't imagine anyone putting up roadblocks. Who would dare? No one wants to be known as a racist in today's world!

Both sites seemed to be well maintained prior to Prince Rainier's death, but are now treated as poor relatives. I thought Prince Albert's influence would improve the sites - not denigrate the quality. Not very good PR!
Michelle located a link to a site perhaps the reason they were working on this new one. http://www.gouv.mc/devwww/wwwnew.nsf/home Thank you Michelle.

For those who don't know French she is referring to News, then to Photo Library. This is the English version of the site. http://www.gouv.mc/devwww/wwwnew.nsf/HomeGb

I do not care if it is Prince Albert, any grown man trying to do THAT dance move always looks goofy! And they do it with their mouths open too.

Albert, we have seen you move better, just stick to slow dances if you can't avoid flailing about during the fast ones.

Royal Family of Monaco - United and Happy

10th October 2005

Monaco

Friday night, Montecarlo Bay become the seat of luxury and glamour for the occasion of the inauguration of the new hotel complex in the peninsula of Larvotto of the Society of the Baths of Sea (SBM), managed by the Grimaldi family since 1863. Wrapped by his two sisters, Princess Caroline, Princess Stephanie and Prince Ernest of Hannover, Prince Albert presided the opening of the hotel, in an act reigned by the optimism and the union of the Monegasque Royal Family.

An extraordinary gathering where Carolina became, once again, the unquestionable queen of elegance. The Princess, with black suit and purse of Chanel, monopolized all the glances by her beauty and style in dressing. Also the princess Stephanie, whose relation with her fiancè, Mathieu , seems to march tailwind, showed preference for the black color, although she decided on a suit more rocker-looking than her sister's. She wore, in this occasion, a frock coat of leather and a hippy pendant to the neck.

In spite of the unsalvable ocean that was created between both, the Princesses were united and glad. And since Prince Rainier passed away, past fifth of April, the three brothers decided to demonstrate in each one of their public appearances that, beyond its rivalries and mix-ups, will follow "working" in the same line in which they did before his father died.

Celebrity Gathering

Prince Albert, new sovereign of the Principality since past month of July, emphasized during its speech the coincidence of the inauguration of Montecar it Bay, of four stars, in the World-wide Day of the Smile (World Smile Day). "the opening of the hotel in this day, in which honor to the Smile surrenders, will be signal of the spirit and the dynamism which will mark always this pretty set", declared the Prince.

The complex, of 11 floors and 334 rooms, is the most important investment that SBM will be representing, for 70 years, with 200 million euros, and was inaugurated in the presence of numerous celebrities like Roger Moore, Shirley Bassey, Denise Fabre, the singers Liane Foly and Catherine Lara, Annie Girardot, journalist Patrick d'Arvor Poivre, as well as the artist Jean-Michel Folon, author of the show windows that decorate this new hotel.

Fun with translators. I believe the intent of the bolded section was the three siblings, meaning Caroline, Albert and Stephanie. And that despite their past difficulties, public and private, they were a united front for Monaco--much the same way they were before Rainier died (and pushed them to do right).

om, i was looking for a good laugh and i found it. im guessing that no one has taught the prince how to fast dance. well, he could do with a few rules, like dont dance with your mouth wide open-you'll look silly.

I agree with you, CasiraghiTrio, but it seems that there are some who just cannot rid themselves of that ugly sort of cancer -- that's how they've been trained to relate to the world and that's all they know how to do. PATHETIC in my opinion. They just cannot help themselves.

I'm glad there are so many more people who are above all that petty, outdated, narrow minded-ness. Especially PA :).

The Prince flirts with the young swedish sportstar

I will translate the Swedish article for you. It will do me good.

Here it goes:

Kajsa’s dance with Prince Albert

First she won the high jumping competition in Monaco. Then she became Monaco’s queen for one night.

Prince Albert fell right for the new Swedish star and the night became high class according to her.

Kajsa started the evening with finally having victory again, after a few jumps where she wasn’t in the right mood.
… (more about the jumps which does not interest us)

When Kajsa came to the banquet at the hotel in Monaco one of Prince Albert’s bodyguards whispered into her ear – The prince would like to have you as his guest of honour tonight.

So exactly like Erica Johannsson earlier, Kajsa ended up on the princes left side at the big banquet. They sat and spoke together for four hours that afternoon.

At two thirty the dance begun and first on the floor were Kajsa and the prince.

Prince Albert is extremely interested in sports and a member of the International Olympic committee.

He has himself participated in more Olympic sports. And he seems to fall for blond Swedish sportstars. Now he has a new neighbour in Monaco, only a few hundred meters from the big palace. Kajsa Bergqvist, 24.

Prince Albert (I am not sure but it could be) led the party as usual in Monaco last night.

Enjoy
Donna
