I loved both the red/pink and the light pink Dior evening gowns :in_love:
They made Victoria look so much young and fresh, like a 20 year old girl, and I like that. She's still very young and she has so many years ahead of her to dress like a middle aged woman

has yone a photo of the dress from the catwalk.

I'm sorry,I have to make clear that only the 2nd light pink-the gala gown-is Christian Dior. Not the red/pink one.Demi Moor wore almost the same at the Golden Globes last month.

This is it!!Yes,they altered it a lot for her.

Sorry, but to me it does not look at all like the same Dior dress 'altered a lot' for Victoria.

One thing is sure: Demi's dress is an original Dior, because I've also seen it in the Greek Harper's Bazaar(February issue). So what we've got here for our Princess could be a very nice copy of the original Dior dress ;)

Victoria’s dress is not even a copy, because it’s a completely different dress. No wide skirt as the Dior, no halterneck, different fabric & color & tailoring...
The only slight similarity of the two dresses is a banded style of the bodice - and even that is different.

So how can we find out who designed it?Could a Swedish member help us here, for example?

I'd really like to find out as well because it's such a (great!) departure in style for Victoria.
It doesn't look at all like it was designed by her regulars Wallin or Engesheden. Swedish mags didn't carry the name of the designer either, but I hope someone here might still come up with it.

Boris,do you think it could be a Dior indeed?Sometimes famous designers-J.Galliano in our case-that come up with a great idea create different versions of the same dress/gown/jacket/whatever.It's not something uncommon, plus Victoria can afford a Dior dress without any doubt.

The banded style pops up frequently at the moment in many designer's collections - but I'd say that Dior's current line is more flowing and loose, and with wider skirts - a different feeling than CP Victoria's dress has.
Of course she could afford Dior, but then it would be her first real haute couture dress, and her first by any French designer... who knows, but somehow I really don't think so.

While CP Victoria wore a nicely made but a bit dowdy combination of black & white lace jacket (first worn about a year ago) with black skirt for the prize ceremony in Messina yesterday –

- she changed for the dinner following the actual ceremony into a classy ‘little black dress’. It shows off her great figure, but really would have needed some lively accessories to add more of a sparkle to the all black, minimalistic look:

The cocktail dress is at least three years old but IMO better than the frilly cocktail dresses in washed-out pastels she appeared in throughout the last year.

Nice choices!!I would like to see her hair different, more feminine.

I like this little black dress. It looks very elegant on Victoria. I still don't care for her hair, though.

I have always liked the black and white lace jacket and skirt. It's very lady-like.

I too like the femininity of the former outfit. Of the latter: Yes, it is nice, but I also think that the hairstyle was too severe or harsh for my taste.

i like the black and white lace jacket and the black dress looks elegant and timeless on her

I really like the black dress. It's very simple but very elegant.

:previous: Now that I saw the details of that dress-I still think it's very elegant,of course-I can assure you that it was a repeat :flowers:

Great collage,HM!!I really like the tiara and the red dress with the pink details(the 1st one in the second row). And it's so nice that she wears them together. She looks gorgeous! On the other hand, the worst tiara is the "Minnie Mouse" one.How can she wear that "thing" on her head?lol

Well, I tried to make this kind of "all Tiara looks " for Vikkan, too... but it's nearly impossible... there are way too many .

So here are (at least) a lot of them....

Many (definitely not all :D) Victoria Gala/Tiara Looks

Oh HM, thanks a lot for this and other tiara looks:flowers::flowers:

No matter of that not all, but you've done great job.

She is the only CPss (of course no matter of fact that she's the future Qregnant) who have so big tiaras collection. Here we have 5.

Don't forget Máxima. She was worn more tiaras. Both can profit from the fact that the tiaras are in a foundation and not private owned like in Norway, Spain. Belgium and Denmark.

Well, not exactly like this...I mean, that hair makes her look at least 10 years older. But I'm sure there are many modern-but still feminine-hairdos.

I love this hairdo. Victoria looks like a grand lady.

I also love this hairdoo. It looks more feminine
