That's right. But I like her tiara very much. MT look simply great tonight.
Swedish three... I don't know. I waite for better/larger photos.
Well they don't surprised me at all.
Madeleine should wore some necklace. Hair are good. Once again she should take shoulder straps.
Victoria has some stones on her dress. She should do something with her hair.
Silvia ... I don't know.

Could it have something to do with that noone wears orders? I don´t think that i have ever seen a member of the Swedish Royal Family wearing a tiara without wearing an order. Maybe the Swedish and the Luxembourg familys have different standards when it comes to "rules" when to wear a tiara or not? Does anyone know if i´m right?
Sad that the Swedish didn´t wear full gala tonight, but it is the host (in this case the Ducal family) that sets the dress code for the return dinner right?

I don't know. Today the dresscode was black tie, which means no Orders and usually also no tiaras. But sometimes also tiaras are worn at black tie events for example also at the 60. and 70. birthdays of Prince Henrik.
Yesterday the dresscode was white tie which means Orders and tiaras.
But it is strange that the swedish royals ladies wear no tiaras when the could. Normally the do always if there is a possibility to wear tiaras.

Thats what I was going to say. Its like she didn't know that it wasn't a tiara event till she saw the other ladies and then took it off. Its a beautiful tiara though!

Would she really do that do you think - take it off straight away? The Empress of Japan wore a tiara at a dinner earlier this year when noone from the Swedish RF did...

But today she and her husband where the hosts, so she should know the dresscode.

Marie Terese looks great tonight --- Empire-waist gown -- that's the best style for her, it makes her look slimmer and taller.
The Swedish royal women look so casual --- almost like they didn't even try to make an effort.
There must have been a breakdown in royal protocol communications as to whether or not tiaras were to be worn. It does look like MT removed hers once she was indoors.
Somebody's head will roll for this one ---

I'm a bit confused why Princess Madeleine wore a fur jacket but Crown Princess Victoria didn't even have one (either a shawl or a jacket). Was it cold this evening?
I've seen Princess Victoria's gown before but are Princess Madeleine's and Queen Silvia's gown new?
Hope someone can provide some info.
Thanks,
Ayvee

Maria Theresa's gown was beyond lovely! Much better than the white I think. I was wondering the same about the tiaras?!
