The Kings inaugurate next Monday school year 2006-07 in Avilés

The Kings of Spain will travel to Asturias the next Monday to inaugurate school year 2006-2007 in a school of Avilés officially, today informed the ministry into Education and Science in a note.
The Kings, accompanied by minister of Education and Ciencia, Mercedes Goatherd, will preside over the act of solemn opening of the course in two scholastic centers.
First in receiving his visit Enrique will be the public center Alonso, and one hour later they will go to the Institute of Education of Secondary Carreño Miranda.

The King went yesterday by surprise to a supper celebrated during IV the Conference of Ambassadors of Spain, in which the Secretary General of the UN, Kofi Annan, appreciated to the governments his “collaboration” so that Israel raises the embargo on the Lebanon and is a solution to the crisis of the Middle East.

The king will receive today in Hearing to Kofi Annan

The Kings of Spain will travel to Asturias next Monday to inaugurate officially the school course 2006-2007 in a college of Aviles, it informed today the department of Education and Science in a note.

The Kings accompanied of the minister of Education and Science, Mercedes Cabrera, will preside at the act of solemn opening of the course in two school centers.

The first one in receiving their visit will be the public center Enrique Alonso, and an hour later they will come to the Institute of Education of Secondary Carreño Miranda.

Asistitán also the president of the Asturias, Vicente Alvarez Areces, the mayor of Aviles, Santiago Rodríguez Vega, and the delegate of the Government in Asturias, Antonio Trevín.

The past course, the Kings inaugurated the course in the public college Francisco Navarro Artiles, in the Port of the Rosario (Fuerteventura).

Joan Clos swears his position like new Minister of Industry in front of King Juan Carlos

The Government reporter of Estado (BOE) today publishes both real decrees by which Jose Montilla stops like minister of Industry, Tourism and Commerce, and names for that position to Joan Clos. The act of oath or promise of the position before the King on the part of Joan Clos is predicted for the 19,00 hours of today and the relief in the seat of the Ministry of Industry will take place tomorrow.

I´m going to try to explain to you.

The kings did not have foreseen to be present at this dinner, for that the Queen go out of Madrid this day and the King still has in Madrid.
But at the last hour of the evening, the king said to the chief of the Royal house, Alvaro Aza, that he wanted to be represent in the act.
And the Queen cannot go, she were out.
Because of it, the King says that the Queen is going to scold him for not having said it to her before

Thanks for clarifying it, I haven't understood it either! Indead it's very funny (not so much for the Queen... and I suppose for the King now as well :lol:) :ROFLMAO:
 
His Majesty the King has presided the act in which Joan Clos i Matheu has promised his minister's cargo of Industry, Tourism and Trade. To the Palace of The Zarzuela there came the prime minister, Jose Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, besides the minister of Justice, Juan Fernando Lopez Aguilar, who acted as major notary of the Kingdom.

The Kings of Spain will visit tomorrow Asturias to inaugurate officially the school course 2006-2007 in a college of Aviles. Compañados of the minister of Education and Science, Mercedes Cabrera, they will preside at the act of solemn opening of the course in two school centers.

The first one in receiving the visit of the Kings will be the public center Enrique Alonso at twelve o'clock at midday, and 45 minutes later will come to the Institute of Education of Secondary Carreño Miranda.

To the act asistitán also the president of the Asturias, Vicente Alvarez Areces, the mayor of Aviles, Santiago Rodríguez Vega, and the delegate of the Government in Asturias, Antonio Trevín.

Don Juan Carlos and dona Sofía will visit the College Enrique Alonso and will preside at the speeches of opening in the Institute Carreño Miranda

The Kings of Spain, don Juan Carlos and dona Sofía, will preside today at the inauguration of the school course in Aviles. The College Enrique Alonso and the Institute Carreño Miranda goes preparing for two months the royal visit and still yesterday meetings and safety controls were kept to guarantee a perfect organization. First, the Monarches will visit the ludoteca and the library of the college, and later they will go to the institute, where the authorities will declare the speeches. There will be opened this way a course that begins with 72.000 more pupils in the Spanish classrooms, in spite of the decrease of matriculation in Secondary.

The Kings of Spain, don Juan Carlos and dona Sofía, will inaugurate in Aviles this midday the school course. This one will be the first time that the Monarch opens in Asturias the school period. After two months of preparations and nerves, two centers avilesinos wait today for the arrival of the Kings to inaugurate the school course of the transition to the LOE. The College Enrique Alonso and the Institute Carreño Miranda re-shines to the wait of the Monarches, who will be accompanied also by the minister of Education, Mercedes Cabrera. Already yesterday it stayed no admittance to two blind streets that surround the institute, which they remained free of parked vehicles. The security forces realized in the evening a last visit to the facilities to make all the details ready and the advisers of the Minister met the directors. The satisfaction was the domineering note, with the sensation that it initiates the course with the made well duties.

In the doors of the College Enrique Alonso the procedure are fixed for this beginning of special course. The pupils will come at ten o'clock, and as soon as they have entered the school enclosure will be closed for safety motives. No relative will be able to remain in the interior, and already for days the Royal House has the list of all the workers and pupils who can be in the center. In the communique of the Enrique Alonso it is asked the parents to take part of massive form from the street, in the spaces enabled for such an end: the zone of the park of La Magdalena that borders on the esplanade and the sidewalk of the street peatonal that leads to the center. The Kings will come at twelve o'clock and will greet the present authorities. Later they will enter the Enrique Alonso, guided by the director, Ramon Estébanez. There they will visit a group of pupils of Infantile in the ludoteca and the library, where the cuentacuentos Susana Souto will do a representation in which some children will take part.

Later the Monarches will move to the lounge of acts of the Carreño Miranda, to preside at the institutional act. In the table there will be the minister of Education, Mercedes Cabrera; the president of the Principality, Vicente Álvarez Areces; the mayor of Aviles, Santiago Rodríguez Vega, and the director of the institute, Jose Castro.

The guests to the act are linked, in their immense majority, by the education. The teachers of the Carreño Miranda will be, a pupils' representation, the school advices of both centers and all the directors of colleges and institutes of Aviles, besides diverse personalities. On having finished the speeches the Kings will visit the laboratory of Chemistry of the center and will sign in the book of honor. Also in this moment avilesina will greet the members of the municipal Corporation. The last act foreseen of the Royal visit is the Spanish wine, which will be served in a tent installed in the enclosure.
 
I just love how much the Kings like children!
You can say they love to be around kids and are very affectionate, that's what's make them great grandparents!:flowers:

King remembers to all the victims of the terrorism anniversary 11-S

The King had today a recollection 'thrilled' for all the victims of the terrorism in the day in which there is fulfilled the fifth anniversary of the terrorist attempts of New York and Washington, which cost the life to almost three thousand persons.

It was in Aviles, where the Kings have presided this morning at the solemn act with which the academic course begins 2006-2007.

Before going to the attendees to the act, the King asked a minute of silence ' to dedicate a very moved recollection to all the victims of the terrorism '.
Don Juan Carlos said that the terrorism is always ' unjustified, cruelly and inhumanly and the firmest penalty and rejection deserves '.
