The groom looks very young?
Kate's clothes hanging off her stick thin frame again. Marilyn Monroe she definitely ain’t!

I don't know now, I think Catherine is one good looking woman.

Catherine is very classy looking, IMO, and a very attractive woman. As for Marilyn, she was of another era. By today's standards she'd be considered plump and not very fit; my opinion of course.

Agreed. Marilyn Monroe would be in the tabloids for being "too fat" these days.:)

The bride's dress is lovely. That's exactly the kind of dress I want to wear at my own wedding.

The bride is beautiful and I love new photos of the Duchess of Cambridge.

I'm with you. The Duchess looks to be enjoying herself.

I only wish I had that 'stick frame'. She's fit, and looks great.

Yes, she is. The way she carries herself has a great deal to do with it.

Wow! Everyone looked simply wonderful - but the bride outshines all ladies. What a beautiful wedding dress this is and a beautiful woman. I loved the Duchhess dress but I am simply not a fan of her little somethings that we call hats. I simply hate such nonsense on ones head. Also Pippa Middleton looked rediculous with this flower though I liked her dress. Mrs Middleton looked very nice and chic as well.

It really is possibly my favorite wedding dress I've ever seen. I'd LOVE to know where I could get a similar dress

The wedding dress isn't that great, but I suppose it was a small wedding. I could see a dress like that bein worn by one of the princesses to a dinner or gala. Also this is one of the rare times where I don't think Pippa looks ug... .. unattractive to me.

very antique lace vintage style wedding dress , the duchess looks pretty elegant , and all Middleton family looks nice & beautiful smiles . thank you for posting , nice article & pics

The wedding dress seems a bit too loose on top, but it is very pretty and suits the bride (who looks to be a somewhat angular woman).

Even though I think the top looks a little large she gets bonus points for wearing a rather unique dress. At least it's not one of the ubiquitous strapless ones that make everyone look the same.

Apparently this is a family heirloom dress which she wore.

Why do people still refer to her as Kate Middleton when she is now HRH Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, she is longer a commoner, but married into royalty:bang::bang::bang:

It's not so much people that do it - it is the tabloids. They excell at INhuman. :whistling:

Ohh, how inhuman of them to call her KM?? Do you consider BBC a tabloid too?

It's a term of endearment :)

My experience as a media writer tells me it's actually a simple answer and not one designed to be disrespectful, but rather to be expedient and to fulfill the objective of the article/story/headline.

Everyone knows the name Kate Middleton.

The name "Duchess of Cambridge" is not as immediately recognizable and requires an additional descriptor such as "wife of Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge" or some such.

"Duchess Kate" or "Duchess Catherine" is (a) wrong in terms of style and (b) wrong in terms of how it sounds, it has an "off key ring" to the ear, if you will.

She is not yet a Princess so that cannot be used.

YMMV

A number of posts have been removed.

Discussion topics ranging across eating disorders, anorexia, muscle mass, unhealthy athletes, Jennifer Lopez and Christina Hendricks have little or no relevance to the Duchess of Cambridge current events.

Thanks for everyone's understanding and cooperation. :)

No but the BBC is a mouthpiece for the left and the socialists.

Let's get back on topic with Catherine's actual current events.

According to the CC, Catherine does not have any engagements in November. She is not even listed as attending the service of laying wreaths on Remembrance Sunday, though she will obviously attend. Sophie is listed as going, so I found it odd that Catherine wasn't listed.

I have always found it strange that William & Catherine isn't listed in the official engagements on the Monarchy site. They are listed in the Court Circular though. I think they should be added in the official engagement list on the main site as well. Charles & Camilla is, so why not William & Catherine?

They are. Their recent tour was listed and past engagements have been as well. The list rarely gets updated for engagements that appear within a few weeks of the event happening. Things that are planned well in advance appear on the engagements list.
