Omg, I just finished reading that article from Hello! and that was sooo sweet of him. He was not asked by anyone to do that, and he truly touched that fan. He just showed that he really is Diana's son. God Bless.

Wow, if he did such a wonderful thing without being advised by someone on his staff it indicates that he might be a thoughtful royal who knows the importance of empathizing with commoners.

It's not like being royal precludes him from having natural empathy with people's sufferings. It seems to me William reaching out is a very human gesture. Having lost a parent himself unexpectly, he understood the shock the young man was going through.

Just want to say that William ALWAYS comes across as such a nice, down to earth guy. Harry too but especially William.
And it seems they get on really well with Charles. Very nice to see :)
