Actually their wedding has been postponed until the next day so that Charles may attend the Pope's funeral.

He will always be perceived as the bad guy and the major reason why his marriage to Diana failed. Thank you for the pictures Mandy.
You're most welcome Alexandria. I agree with you totally.

So let me play devil's advocate if I may. We are always accusing Charles of many sins, but has anyone of us even considered the possibililty that the pope's funeral was diliberately planned to coincide with Charles' and Camilla's wedding.

Well said, Alexandria. I have been rather conflicted with Charles. He has done much work as a royal in trying to make immigrants feel that they belong in a modern Britain. He has also worked with ecumenical organizations as well as with Islamic organizations that often are overlooked by the vast number of Britons. He has been a leader in organic farming which is to be commended greatly and his attacks on modern architecture were music to my ears. But of course, like many of us, who admire his public interests, we dont admire the other aspects of his life. The aspects, it seems that the media are all too willing to focus on throughout his life.

Alexandria,

I do not recognize charles in this descripiton but I know that there are members who do.

And it is my experience that the ones who show their feelings are not always the ones who feel the strongest, his showing emotion during the funeral does not give a clue about what kind of a man he is.

I agree with Alexandra except for the grief thing. One can fake it pretty well. Its not like we know what was going on in his mind at the time.

You are right, one can fake it pretty well. All the princesses can fake their tears on their wedding days. All royals can fake their distress when visiting ravaged areas or poor countries. Where do we draw the line?

And how do we know that he wasn't faking it? These kind of arguments work both ways. No one will ever know the truth but Charles if he really was grief stricken or not.

And if Charles were such a good actor as you say he is, how come he didn't fake more cordial relations with Diana during the last years of their marriage? Put on a happier, more loving front to throw everyone off track about him no longer loving Diana.

How about these wild commerative t-shirts? I guess it's a good thing that the Royal family has a good sense of humor. If they don't somebody is in deep trouble

American viewers

MSNBC is currently showing an entire footage of Charles and Diana's wedding. Turn on your television! Oops, it just went to a commercial break.
