For having a journalist background i don't find Letizia's english that impressive. As many noted she has a very strong Spanish accent but i imagined her travels and reporting as a journalist she would have have been more natural. In many of her speeches in english i struggle at times with certain words or phrases.

letizia surely is a good public speaker. i liked this speech very much: she is engaging, present, and speaks freely and spontaneously, guiding herself through her speech papers, but mainly just talking through it.

Well, to me Letizia looks always a bit uncomfortable around children, but it could only be my impression. She appears to be interested though, and that comes out as sort of eandearing.

Maybe we are looking at different photos. Queen Letitia, always looks happy and relax around children, and the children do love her!

I merely pointed out that in my opinion Letizia looks not at ease around children. Everyone is entitled to have an opinion, you know. :eek:

Some very nice pictures of the Queen. Notice how happy the little girl holding her hand is (the little boy looks less thrilled). And I like the picture where something surprising seems to be happening, and Letizia has her eyes kind of bugging out!

How lovely that she really completely natural with children I also think, she is MOST at ease with children
