I am not a fan of this outfit. I think it looks a little bit too wintery and it isn't that cold in NM. I think it it is a bit too much gray, if the jacket was paired with a nice black skirt she would have looked a bit nicer.

I share a litle with you. Until now Letizia is wearing a lot of dark colours. In my opinion strong colours , like red, stay much better

This must have been a very interesting lunch--dining with the heads of the IMF, the World bank and the Latin American Development Fund.

But in the morning they had been chatting with an entirely different looking fellow:

I really love this last outfit, the salmon pink coat with the ruffled blouse. It's so feminine and elegant. Great choice!

I like this outfit so much more than the grey one she wore at New Mexico. That outfit was.......I don't have a word for it...but I didn't like it..lol..I think it was because she wore the whole set, the jacket and the pants, and it almost looks like she's wearing a piece of carpet..:)

However this outfit I love on her, makes her look very feminine and simply lovely. I honestly think she should stay away from colours like grey and brown, but she looks very pretty in sharp colours, white and black (I think everyone looks good in black!)

Lovely photos. Thanks for posting.

In that last set they are not just being tourists. Felipe is showing Letizia the campus of Georgetown University where he received his Masters Degree in International Relations.

The article I read said the students they met earlier in the day all said that Letizia made a "magnificent impression" on them. (www.hoy.es)

Her is the article that tell about the photo you see both of them in jeans.

The Princess wanted to know Georgetown

Princes de Asturias met yesterday with students, investigators and Spanish professors in Washington Later, Don Felipe and Doña Letizia ate for lunch with Rodrigo Rato, managing director of the F. M. Internacional

ALMUDENA MARTÍNEZ-FORNÉS/WASHINGTON

Both years that Her Height Real Prince de Asturias happened in the University of Georgetown were two years loaded of experiences and pleasing memories. And, although already one decade has passed more than since Don Felipe was in this prestigious university center, the certain thing is that the Prince very frequently talks about that stage of his life.

So much, that their constant references had waked up in Doña Letizia a great interest and curiosity to know the campus this University and, although this visit was not predicted in the official program of the Princes, the Heir of Corona was committed to teach the campus yesterday to his wife in the evening, when the official activities of the trip had finished that make by the United States.

Encounter

What yes it was predicted was an encounter with about 60 students, professors and Spanish investigators of the different Universities from Washington, and was indeed there where Princes de Asturias announced their desire to visit the campus of Georgetown. The meeting was held in the residence of the Spanish ambassador, Carlos Westendorp, after another encounter with the holder of the Chair Prince of Asturias of the University of Georgetown,

Although it was the Prince who "broke the ice" directing greeting words, immediately one of the students, David Soria, that prepare the Doctorate in Biology, hurried to request to Don Felipe that dedicated a photo to him in which he with the Prince left and who had become it a year ago during the previous visit of the Heir of Corona to Georgetown. The dedication had to be directed to his grandmother, Brown Ángela, that soon will turn 82 years.

Once taken care of the request, Don Felipe and Doña Letizia, whom caused a "magnificent impression" to the students consulted by ABC , they talked during near one hour with the students. Whereas the Prince remembered that his wife had been working like journalist in Washington - during the attacks of 11-M and the count of the votes of Florida -, the Princess recognized that Don Felipe spoke very frequently of Georgetown and that to her it would like to know its campus. After this encounter, the Princes were transferred to the International Monetary Fund, where, Rodrigo rato, and the presidents of the World Bank, James Wolfenshon had lunch with the managing director, and of the Inter-American Development Bank, Enrique Churches.

This morning in DC meeting with the members of Young Hispanic Leaders Program. She's wearing that awesome pink suede coat.

I like the caption on the first one: Crown Prince Felipe with Princess Letizia of Asturias, Spain passes along the portraits of his great-great-grand parents King of Spain Alfonso XIII and Queen Victoria Eugenia prior his meeting with members of Young Hispanic Leaders Program at the Spanish Ambassador's residence in Washington, October 7, 2004.
