other good ones were Sophie, Countess of Wessex - beautiful in her two piece! that shape of dress suits her enormously.
amal's yellow dress was quite striking, as was Karen Spencer in that deep purple dress
Gina Torres - nice dress
Serena Williams - well fitted, nice shade for her skin tone
cressida looked lovely; demure and understated. a part of me wishes she was the bride today! i always liked her discrete, english rose style.

victoria beckham usually hits it right, but this time it was okay, just not great.
doria was okay, i just wish she took off her nose piercing! that, to me, is a NO NO in a royal wedding when you are the mum of the bride and her only real family there, so a lot of attention on you.

Oprah Winfrey was a massive miss for me. proof that money does not buy elegance.

Some observations:

1) My mother was watching with me, and as soon as she saw Oprah she said "That dress is WAAAAAYYYY too tight on her!!!!!!!"
She did like Oprah's hat, though.

2) Victoria Beckham looked ok to me---my mother hated the dress, though. And personally----can that woman ever just TRY to smile once in a while?
David looked good in that mourning suit, though.

3) Amal Clooney was stunning in that yellow dress. Yellow seemed to be the order of the day overall. Her hat was awesome, as well.

4) Priyanka Chopra killed in that gray suit.

5) Did anybody notice that hideous monstrosity of a hat with two ostrich feathers on it? Even the BBC folk started making fun of it.

6) Harry looked like a Truly Magnificent God Of War in that outfit.

7) Meghan-------beyond words.

Lady Kitty's look was great. It was nice to see Sara Chatto in a perfect ensemble attending the event.

N... Lord and Lady Snowden are in the chapel, Lord and Lady Freddie Windsor are there as well.

Are there any good photos of Lord and Lady Snowden and Sarah Chatto? One can be sure that Lady Serena looked perfect.

Meghan was in the Phantom IV, I'm guessing the Queen and Prince Philip were in the State Bentley. Did anyone catch what other members of the Royal Family arrived in?

I feel I missed so many of the arrivals!

I was mostly watching BBC America and they kept cutting away to interview people from the various charities!
Every time they did I switched channels but I know I missed a lot of the guests!


Hopefully the pictures will be posted here later; I'd like to see Sarah Chatto's outfit and also Lady Frederick Windsor's and Lady Gabriella's.

I have to agree it got a bit annoying missing some of the arrivals.

Lady Frederik Windsor and Lady Gabriella Windsor weren't on the guest list and apart from Prince Seeiso, there were no other foreign royals.

Was a guest list ever released?

Most RF members walked, elderly royals arrived in a minibus. Doria arrived in a Bentley Muslanne.

As expected, Lady Sarah Chatto is the personification of elegance. It is quite unfortunate that Lady Frederic and Lady Gabriella were not in attendance.

Agree with most of the sentiments others have expressed. I loved Lady Kitty Spencer's entire ensemble. Simply divine. Amal Clooney was also just perfect and stunning. Same for Lady Sarah Chatto.

I really liked Abigail Spencer's dress. Joss Stone was just a lovely spring dream. Also nice was Gina Torres. I liked Chelsy Davy's look.

Didn't care for Pippa Middleton's dress, nor Cressida Bonas' dress (but I might change my mind once I see some better pics of her). Agree that Oprah's dress seemed rather tight fitting but the color was lovely and her hat was top-notch.

Kitty Spencer clearly is the best dressed of al the guests. She looked ethereal. Her dress, fascinator and makeup were bang on. Loved the burnt orange shoes for contrast. She’s a real beauty.

The countess Spencer looked lovely too, the purple suited her. Loved her hair as well.

Clearly these two Spencer ladies hit it out of the park.

Amal Clooney looked lovely. Nice to see a vibrant colour amidst so many pastels.

Joss Stone looked lovely, very appropriate for a spring wedding.

Priyanka Chopra looked good.

Eugenie and Beatrice were meh today. I’d really like them to get it right for some royal wedding.

Carole Middleton had amazing style. She looked resplendent.

Didn’t much like Pippas outfit.

Victoria Beckham looked exactly like she did at Williams wedding - boring.

Not sure about Gabriella, but I would guess Lady Frederik was on the guest list, she just didn't attend. I know some guests didn't get a plus one, but those were like charity workers. Inviting your cousin, but not his wife, I don't see happening. Perhaps she didn't think she could sit through the ceremony and the rest right now. I was surprised Gabriella wasn't there, maybe she too was invited but unable to make it.

No children or grandchildren of the Kent’s or the Gloucesters were invited to the wedding.
