Ukrainian children in focus when the Queen visited Poland
During Wednesday and Thursday, the Queen and Minister Camilla Waltersson Grönwall visited Warsaw together with the World Childhood Foundation.
They had the opportunity to see how Childhood's partners help and protect children who have been affected by the war in Ukraine.
Childhood has worked in Ukraine for 20 years. The Queen's visit brought together Childhood's nine Ukrainian partners in Warsaw for talks and exchanges of experience and knowledge. The Queen and the delegation also visited two Polish partners of Childhood, which provide support to children and families from Ukraine.

When queen Silvia was in Poland last week, the Swedish Embassy held a reception. Queen Silvia got a book:
"Meeting Queen Silvia is always both an honor and a pleasure. I admire her enthusiasm and determination in repairing children's world. She is a true ambassador of the idea of fighting violence against children. I write about it in the chapter dedicated to her in the book #Wielcyprzycieledzieci, which I had the opportunity to hand over to this outstanding Lady of the #OrderoftheSmile today. We also managed to reminisce about the joint Korczak conferences and the visit to Świdnica, which remained in the queen's memory. I promised what I do - to convey my warmest greetings to the Ladies and Knights of the Order of the Smile, with whom Queen Sylwia not only identifies, but whom she sincerely admires."
