Sold what?

What properties, if any, do the Orléans still own that used to belong to the late Count and Countess of Paris (Henri and Isabelle)?

Prince Michel sold the Pavillon Montpensier where his Mother the late Comtesse de Paris lived.
His nephews Chartres and Noailles bought it ,so it is still now in the Orleans Family.
His twin , duke Jacques d' Orleans is living at Eu in the "maison du jardinier "

I remember reading about the pavillion on Noblesse & Royautes. But did the countess really live there? On the photos it seems tiny, more a place to have an afternoon tea than to actually live.

Thanks the Forums for your interest for the Orléans Family. Yes in her old days the Comtesse de Paris lived there hapilly but had a second house there "la maison du Jardinier" when she had guests.
The Family of Orleans was very popular when I was young. Front Pages of Paris Match.

The 6 girls of the Comte et la Comtesse de Paris are still living ; Princesses isabelle, Hélène , Diane , Anne, Claude and Chantal.
For their 5 boys : Henri , François and Thibaut passed away. The twins Jacques et Michel are still living.
Among their huge amount of Grand Chldren only 3 passed away : Duke Friedrich of Wurtenberg, Son of Diane, Prince François d' Orléans, Son of Henri and Louis Philippe Son of Thibaut.

Princess Hélène, Countess of Limburg Stirum celebrated her 90th birthday and gathered all her children and grandchildren La princesse Hélène de France fête ses 90 ans entourée de sa fratrie, ses enfants et petits-enfants au château de Huldenberg
Some nice pictures from this family reunion, thanks for sharing. It seems that Helene is not yet a great-grandmother, unlike some of her younger sisters (Anne, Diane and Claude). I think her eldest granddaughter Celeste got married some years ago, but I didn't see her husband in these pics

Lovely Pictures . Princess Hélène and Count Everard LS lived in Rhodesia and then build a modern House near the Castle. Her Mother in law was not nice with her and she died when she was 101 years old. I bought a painting of her and she invited me in a restaurant where she spoke 3 hours about her family and the difficult times she had with her Daughter Catherine. She lived then on the second floor of the Castle , her Son Louis is the owner., with no elevator. Princess Isabelle is too old to travel , Princess Claude is working
I was happy to see the Count de la Marche , only Son of the late Prince Thibaud . No Comte de Paris Wurtenberg, Aoste, ? I like the picture where she is sitting between the two wives of Prince Michel , and Duchess Gersende is not smiling!

Great thanks Stefan for posting news of the Orléans . I could send to Princess Hélène a Congratulation Message on her Mobile. I thought she will have no time to answer, but just now I received a thankful message signed Hélène O.L.S

According to Point de Vue, Helene d’ Orleans, daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Chartres, is engaged to be married to a Portuguese man named Francisco Sottomayor Quinta.

Edit:

The instagram account of diario da realeza has a photo of the couple. Apparently he is a pilot at TAP and she is a data analyst.

New photo of Princess Hélène d’Orléans and her fiance Francisco Sottomayor Quinta. The photo was taken in Lisbon.

What a nice detail that it was her godfather [who is a jeweller] who designed the ring. That must make it even more special.

Prince François and Princess Theresa of Orléans welcomed their fourth child, Nicolas.
Prince Charles-Philippe of Orléans posted photos of the child's christening on social media.

I believe Jean's father (re)instated Michel & children and the count de La Marche in 1999, though Henri jr. still had Prince Jacques and (grand)sons have succession rights before Michel [the elder twin] and sons. But it seems you are right, Jean must have annuled his father's decision. I am not sure why he refuses to accept his father's decision as he does not explain it on his website.

His own wife is hardly more noble than the wives of Prince Michel and Prince Thibault were. So if he wants to be consistent he will need to scratch himself and his children from that list too and hand over the headship of the house to his brother, the duke of Angoulême, which might be a blessing anyway.

Not a surprising decision perhaps, he has always appeared to be a ridiculous and petty man, as we saw in his treatment of his cousin the Duke of Anjou. We live in 2025 and he is wasting time with these things, while at the same time not even able to rule in his own house in Dreux, let alone a Kingdom. He is the best advertisement for a republic France can get.
