Thanks for all of the wonderful photos, Mandy. I forgot to mention before that I loved the music during the ceremony. The prince and princess certainly did an excellent job of selecting the music. What did everybody think of the TV coverage? I taped a lot of it and watched several channels during the broadcast itself. First off, I will say that I watched the BBC America review of the day´s events and it was fairly good. But the presenter made one major mistake that I can recall. When the guests were arriving at the chapel, the camera showed Tom Parker Bowles and she said he was arriving with his girlfriend when in fact, it was his sister. O, well. If she was live then perhaps I could understand but that was bad. Anyway, I watched at the beginning the CNN coverage with Becky Anderson and Anderson Cooper. Definitely one of the oddest anchor pairiings in the history of television. Just strange. But they were funny for awhile. However, Anderson Cooper kept on making stupid remarks about the hats and there was that darn Richard Quest carousing and just acting silly on the sidewalks, so I decided to turn on MSNBC. Actually, before that, I broke one of my cardinal rules of TV watching and turned on Fox News Channel for a minute. This blonde bimbette was chattering on and on and she was so insulting to Charles. I mean it wasn´t very nice. Sure, we can stand jokes about the man but she just was so sarcastic and insulting. So I couldn´t watch for any longer than a minute. I then turned on MSNBC and they had Alex Witt who is quite funny and charming. But with her was Victoria Maher from Vanity Fair. I had seen her in a few programs in the leadup to the wedding and she was okay. But this morning she was on fire.(helped, no doubt, by the copius amount of champagne she imbibed.) Very witty. They also had a few other guests. Tina Brown was one and I always enjoy listening to her. I had hoped for more coverage of the foreign royals. At least they could have announced who they were. I mean the non-TRF people of the world might have actually wanted to know who they were as well. But anyway, I felt it was pretty good coverage. With these types of events, you often want more. So what did everybody think of the TV coverage?

Joan Rivers was invited as she is a painter and has painted with Charles before.

Laura Parker-Bowles is a doll. Is it only me, who finds her to look a bit like Diana? Anyway, maybe that green coat was not her best choice, but I still liked the style. By all means, I hope I will hear more of her now that she is the step-daughter of Charles´s.

Thank you to all those who posted photos!

I am wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of the official guestlist for the blessing and reception, I have searched the internet and this forum but have had no luck. TIA :)

Hi all,

does someone knows how the children on both sides are getting along?

Me too! The fact that, when camilla was proud of her great-grandmother alice keppel for being the king's mistress and than for her to have an open marriage when she was married to Andrew is completely perverse and so disgusting. I didn't even know ppl did those kinds of things. And yeah I am sure her kids are happy, but if my mom did that I would be so mad and embarrased that she was somebody's "scarlet woman" (the word I want to use starts with a w and rhymes with floor)! Women deserve better and are more valuable than to have to cheat, lie, fornicate, adulterate in order to get what they want. The ends should not justify the means. This case has not been a good example for girls b/c it has taught them that the ends justify the means. When I teach my daughters and others about this situation I will tell them that this is no fairytale cuz one is more precious and more valuable than being someone's "scarlet woman".

I pray that future royals and monarchs would use more discretion and be more mature! I hope that is this has not compromised what a monarchy is supposed to be! If so than viva la republica (i hope i said that right)!

Two lovers....two betrayers.....ex-husbands....what a wonderful family.....a way of life that both Charles and Camillia wishes to share with the world....thank god I don't have ANY of these values / ethics in my family!

I never said this was a re-marraige. I said it was a full Royal Wedding in all but name due to the opulence of the ceremony. Given the history of the situation a shorter more simple service would have been more tasteful. I also had to shake my head at the way they diluted the significance of the prayers of penitence my getting the whole congregation to say them with them. It really showed how insincere their so-called repentence is.

Can I also ask when it has ever been common practice for an ex-spouse to attend the wedding of their ex-partner especially when the ex-partner is marrying someone they were in a relationship with during the first marraige (children or no children). Princess Anne nor Mark Philips, for example, felt it appropriate to attend each others second weddings even though Peter and Zara were there. Parker-Bowles had no qualms about going to the wedding in the same way he had no qualms about Camilla sleeping with Charles throughout their marraige. I mean, would Diana have attended if she was alive? I think not.

it is a beautiful custom to read the prayer of penitence together, we all have something that needs forgiving.

Charles and Camilla's marriage certificate

Charles lists his profession as "Prince of the United Kingdom" on the wedding certificate, while Camilla has left hers blank. Prince William's barely-legible autograph appears in the space for witness, above Tom Parker Bowles'

I think she looks just like her mother - I was thinking , looking at her, this must be how Camilla looked when Charles first met her.

I think she is the spitting image of her father, especially around the eyes.

Camilla's ex is a friend of her and Charles; they are in the same social circle. It seems like William and especially Harry supported them on their wedding day due to the fact that the couple is happy together and there would be nothing they could do to change anything.

i would say....i think that Mr. Parker Bowles...have a REALLY REALLY open relationship with Camilla cuz....long time before they are divorce...like in the mid to late 80's.....the relationship between Camilla and Prince of Wales were like already on newspapers and making headlines.....it seems to me that Mr. Parker Bowles like the idea that "my wife is the prince of wales's mistress" and he's not shy to let the public know this unfaithful relationship

What I find interesting is that he states that his previous marriage was dissolved. I know that that is true howver, here in the US if your ex-spouse dies you no longer have to say divorced you can say widowed.

Oh my...so much to say!!!!

First off...William and Harry supporting the wedding...who's to say that these two aren't truly happy for Prince Charles and the Duchess (as she is now termed)? They seem to make one another happy and it seems fairly obvious...after all they've made it work this long? So how do we not know that maybe William and Harry aren't supporting this marriage because they truly want their father to be happy, and they can see that this woman does just that?

Second-I don't see anything wrong with Andrew Parker Bowles attending the wedding? It just goes to show that the pair seperated amicably and are commited to remaing friends and supporting one another.

In answer to Karima's question- the group of "kids" have grown up in the same cirlces, and it has been reported more then once that the ofur are friends, so I'm sure this just stregthens those friendships.

And finally I will state again (I've already stated it once), would all those people who are so disgusted by this marriage be just as disgusted if Diana were still alive and remarrying? After she commited the same adultery in the relationship and was just as much to blame for the break-up of the Royal marriage as the Prince of Wales was.

You might describe yourself as widowed but the legal definition is still divorced. Their previous marriages were dissolved and then Charles spouse died. Some people say that his marital status remained as divorced while others say that he became a widower. Either way his previous marriage was dissolved which is what is says on the marriage certificate.

Strange, he forgot his "profession", he is a Prince of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

The United Kingdom is composed of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, so he included Northern Ireland by referring to the United Kingdom rather than to Great Britain.
