There will be no official dinners (representationsmiddag) in the spring.

The official dinners that would normally have been arranged in the spring will not take place, Margareta Thorgren confirms this to Svensk Damtidning.
- Due to the royal jubilee year and the celebration of the King's 50 years on the throne that will take place in September, there are no official dinners during the spring.
And how about in the autumn?
- We will have to come back to that, says Margareta Thorgren.

In other words they spoke about Finland joining Nato and why Turkey and Hungary have decided to not approve the Swedish application.
 
The King and Victoria attended today opening of the port Stockholm Norvik in Nynäshamn.

The King inaugurated Stockholm Norvik Harbour, which is located at the entrance to Nynäshamn. The Crown Princess also attended the inauguration.
Before the opening ceremony, the King and Crown Princess got to see the port's gantry cranes and container cranes, as well as the control room from which the cranes are controlled.

Finally! It is with great joy that we can now inaugurate Stockholm Norvik Hamn. The opening was planned for spring 2020, but could not be carried out when the pandemic hit and then persisted.
The Crown Princess and I have been given a guided tour of the harbor and are very impressed by the modern facility.

The King and Victoria attend today the EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum 2023 on the occasion of the Swedish presidency of the EU, held at Scandinavian XPO, Arlanda city.
They were welcomed by Swedish Foreign Minister Tobias Billstrom and European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell.

The King and Queen hosted a diplomatic reception for ambassadors from Guatemala, Sri Lanka, Italy, the Czech Republic and Saudi Arabia. Victoria and Daniel attended too.

The King and Victoria attended the Council of State today.
Each minister present informed The King about political initiatives, investigations and current legislation within his or her department, and responded to questions. Councils of State are held regularly, and are led by The King.
According to the Constitution Act of 1974, the Prime Minister is responsible for ensuring that the Head of State is kept informed about matters concerning the nation. It is formally The King who convenes Councils of State, but the decision is made in consultation with the Prime Minister.

King Carl Gustaf, queen Silvia and crown princess Victoria attended this afternoon The Öland Inhabitant of the Year ceremony at Solliden.

The King delivered The Solliden Award to The Öland Inhabitant of the Year, Bitte Börjesson, who with her passionate commitment to the local association, has created the conditions for generations of Öland youth to find a passion for sports. Queen Silvia and Crown Princess Victoria attended, and were dressed on their Öland costumes. Bitte Börjesson gave the King a football jersey.

The government decides when the meeting of the Advisory Council on Foreign Affairs will be held.
Margareta Thorgren confirms to Svensk Damtidning that Victoria is now back on Öland again.
- When there are major foreign policy issues and issues that concern Sweden, the meeting of the committee is called. Crown Princess Victoria is already back on Öland.
Thorgren wasn't sure when the King returns but said that both Victoria and the King will be on Öland tomorrow afternoon.

Crown Princess Victoria, Princess Estelle, Prince Oscar and Prince Carl Philip received the FIFA Women's World Cup bronze medalists in football at the Royal Palace this evening. And Rio was there too.

The women's national team was celebrated royally after arriving in Stockholm. During a visit to the Royal Palace, Crown Princess Victoria, Princess Estelle, little brother Prince Oscar and Prince Carl Philip showed their appreciation. It also turned out to be an extraordinary team image.

King Carl Gustaf, crown princess Victoria and prince Carl Philip attended today the meeting of the Defence Commission at the Royal Palace. Lieutenant general Jan Salestrand, the Chief of H.M.The King's Military Staff, participated also in the meeting.
The chairman of the Committee, Hans Wallmark, informed about the Allvarstid report from 19 June. The report includes, among other things, an assessment regarding priorities and consequences of Swedish membership in NATO.

The King and Crown Princess Victoria visited today Försvarets materielverk FMV (The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration).
The visit began with a tour of the Air Force Memorial Hall. The Memorial Hall is housed at FMV and here all those who died in the Armed Forces' aviation service are honored and remembered.
The King and Crown Princess then received a briefing on FMV's operations: about the growth the authority is facing, important equipment projects and various international collaborations. The King and the Crown Princess also received information about how FMV supports Ukraine, both within the framework of the special mission given to the agency by the government and in support of the work of the Swedish Armed Forces.

Carl Philip is a reserve officer in the Swedish Amphibious Corps, and holds the rank of Major. The King wants Carl Philip to attend at many events in connection with the Armed Forces and national defence.

On a few occasions per year, newly appointed ambassadors are given the opportunity to meet members of the Royal Family at a reception at the Royal Palace.
