Thanks Turkish Delight, BTW why didn't he want to become CP?

From my understanding, he just didn't want. There isn't any reason for that.:)

I've read that formerly, in some Muslim countries, the Heir was not strictly the elder son of the King or Emperor, even if it almost ever was this way. The Monarch had the prerrogative to choice his own Heir among all their children. For example, Nasser-ed-Dinh Shah, from Qajar dinasty in Persia, wanted that his Heir could be the son of his favorite wife (she was not even from a to royal blood heritage), but he died...he must pic Muzzaffar-ed-Dinh who was his elder son at the time, and son of a full royal blood mother. But he was in bad terms with this particular wife and didn't like the child at all. However, Muzzaffar was his Heir apparent. Paradoxally he had had the same trouble with his own father. Only the Pahlavies fixed the succesion law copying the European one.I supose that maybe in Qatar is the same than it was in Iran...Anyone knows for sure?Vanesa

Well ... it appears that the Qatari royal family is unlucky with their construction/reconstruction projects in Europe lately.

Personally I think they are moving to fast and dont have the capability of new projects in Europe ismply because there is too much still going on in Qatar, they cant do so many things at a time as a new country that is new in the developing busniess.
