Wow- Queen Silvia almost always looks gorgeous, but she really knocked it out of the park! Stunning! Would look great with a hat. As is- very Jackie O. Pink is really her color.

If you look closely she's wearing a beret .....the Queen though not born a Royal always looks and behaves every inch a born Queen

Even better with the hat- love the hat- though I envisioned more of a pillbox. But now that I've seen this hat, I wouldn't change it - I don't think. Can't make up my mind.
@ Marty- glad great minds think alike. 2 different women I'm sure- but she sure reminds me of photos of Jackie O there. I also agree- QS is one of those women that would look good wearing a sack. Like Jackie - always so elegant.
What was today's occasion? QS seems to have the art of regal dressing down to a science- although I follow many Queens on here, and they each have their own regal style that is unique to them- which I love and wouldn't change.
EDIT- Today's beret has got to go! First hat was so much better. Next time I say pink hat above or pink pillbox!

In the evening, wearing the gown I have always disliked, it is on top three of the queens gowns I dislike. The jewellery is great though.

That dress and the beautiful Leuchtenberg sapphires doesn't work together, and I think we have seen that dress one time too much lately.

There is a lot of things going on in this outing. The pearls/crystals on the dress can't stand on their own when the large necklace, collar of the order and the royal family order are there as well. I also think that the necklace is a bit too big for that neckline of the dress.
 
I might be the only one but I like Silvia's look very much:ermm:. I think she looks like a queen should look...
 
I don't know why some people don't like the red dress. I love it on Queen Silvia. It accentuates her lovely figure and makes her look more youthful. I also have a thing about frilly draping fabric.

This suit looks new to me- Anyone else recognize it?

I too do not love this gown as on of my favorites of hers and really am not a fan of the sapphires with the red dress. I love when she wears the sapphires with white gowns however!

I think that the dress itself is really nice! But I think it's better as a black tie-dress, when the design doesn't have to compete with orders and such. Plus that I think she has used one or two times too many since she debuted it in 2013.

The shoes are awful but the outfit is nice. I always really disliked the pink dress. Cheap looking, and too young for her in my opinion. I especially dislike the sleeves. Though the sapphires look good with the dress.

The red dress is lovely, I like the a-symetrical fringe, without it being too fringy (is that a word?).

I only know of 4 times: Madeleine's pre-wedding dinner, 2013 Nobel Prize, Official Visit to Netherlands in 2014, and last night. Has she worn it any other time?

I think you have got them all, I can't recall any else. So four times is not really much, but she has worn the dress for important events, which are rememberable. If she has worn it for a Representation dinner in Stockholm or a event that is not that much in the limelight, I don't think I would care that much.
 
I love the color but I don't like the sleeves.
 
I think this is such an elegant gown and I love the color! It is so rich looking. The only thing I'm not too sure about is the sleeves...

I always loved this gown. I love the soft color and the elegant style.
 
For some reason, I am not loving this gown on the always elegant Queen Sylvia. It seems like there is too much going on with the patterned bag she is carrying and the pattern of the gown...
 
I am loving it- especially the color.
 
This is one of my favorite gowns of her, I love the color ans the rich brocade fabric and pattern. She wore during one of,her daughter,s weddings festivities
 
I believe her bag was embroidered by one of the King's sisters- but I am unsure. I shall investigate tomorrow.
 
I don't like this dress at all anymore. But it looked good at Victoria's pre-wedding event with diamonds, the dress is at it's best without sashes and orders. And the sapphires don't look good with it.
