The Queen has worn this gown previously, and I did not expect to see it in a white tie setting, but it seems to work with the blue Garter sash.

The blue day dress is very much in her wheelhouse, and in line with the dresses she has been wearing in recent years. The repeated red dress works well, but I thought it looked better last year with the rubies.

Its somewhat a miss for me as well as the dress doesn't perfectly fit and the amazing jewels are screaming for another color. Shame as the combo red dress/rubies was indeed a knockout last year.

To be honnest most of the French don't care ...

It has to be noted that the Welcome ceremony at the Arc de Triomphe is the highest honnor given to a visiting head of State. Most ceremonies are held at the Invalides nowadays and only KIng Charles III and President Biden were welcomed here until today during the Macron's administration.

Only that her neckline was a bit too much on the side so that the necklace was not shown to it's best.
