Jan Marijnissen is the leader of the Socialist Party (SP), at the moment the 3rd party of the country. I took a peek at the article at a bookshop. They say that he hasn´t been invited to any of the dinners that were organised by WA and Maxima at their villa. Apparently his anti-monarchy stance caused him Maxima´s grudge. Total nonsense btw as his party recently dropped the anti-monarchy thing from their party programme and WA and Maxima do meet with republicans or former republicans (though there aren´t many around).

I am not going to deny that, if in a rush, I could mistake them when browsing people.com.... but what it's evident to me, is that we need some new material on Máxima asap.... soon we're going to compare Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton & the Gang with the Princess :ROFLMAO:
 
Yes, it's time she will be out and about again.
I've seen more pictures of Britney in which she has some ressemblance to the princess, especially when she laughs. But most of the time, I just don't see it.:lol:

haha! I hope not! Poor Máxima! :D

I think Britney looks a bit like Máxima (the smile, the eyes...) but not everytime. In that picture, yes I think they look very similar.
 
Oh I completely agree. It was just the one photo for me that I saw a resemblance. It took a few moments for me to figure it out as it is such a completely unexpected comparison.

And yes, I can see the resemblance. At least Jessica Simpson has a little more class than Britney Spears. ;)
 
OH MY, can we please not compare a crown princess with these hollywood trainwrecks!!! Regardless of looks, these "I have more money than sense" girls are nothing compared to Maxima, great personality, great husband, great kids, cool clothes that actually keep her covered! Let's just not go there with comparisons PLEASE!
 
eww, i can't bear the tought of poor maxima resembling trashy britney! i have nothing against her, but she certainly doesn't resemble (at least in mental ability) princess maxima, other than in her titles of princess of the netherlands and princess of pop. in that picture, and only that one, she bears some physical resemblance, but fortunately that's all.

RTL boulevard showed some footage of this opening. They asked Maxima if she was still tired of the party. She awnsered ´you can hear, I lost my voice´with a smile.
 
Maxima looked really pretty today! Love her top and pants, as well as the shoes. I'm really glad she cut her hair a bit. Ohh, I just love her smile :flowers:
