I saw the Grand Prix at the tv, there prince Albert, Princess Charlene, pierre Casiraghi and Sophie Wessex.
I liked the printed dress of Charlene.
It was nice to see Princess Sophie of Wessex. Princess charlene said in an inteview in Gala last year that She liked very much Princess Sophie.

Where are the pictures? I haven't seen many pictures of the royal family watching...:ermm:

I think that they don't take much photos when the royals are watching the race, just at the prize ceremony. The photos will come from that soon.
There were a lot of celebrities at the paddock: Antonio Banderas, Will Smith, Bernie Ecclestone's daughters, many german footballers...

Congrats to Mark Webber on his victory.

And yet, EIIR it remains the most famous and prestigious race on the F1 circuit. As David Coulthard said, Monaco is everything you want a Grand Prix race to be.

Coulthard lives in Monaco and has commercial interests there in a hotel I believe. He's not exactly an independent arbiter.

What a surprise that the car who started on pole won the race. Typical Monaco procession yet again.

Great pictures, and Charlene does look fantastic.
I really love this picture of the couple

That is totally gorgeous. !! :flowers:

Being on pole position is no guarantee at all that you are going to win the race. I sometimes watch FI races as my husband is a major fan.

Great to see the Countess of Wessex attending the prize giving ceremony - I hadn't expected her to stay in
Monaco much longer after the Amber Fashion Show.

Yes, that was lovely. Maybe she and Charlene have developed a friendship since the wedding last year. ?

I think it happened.Countess Sophie and Prince Edward represented the royal family in 2005 (Prince Albert's enthronement) and last year at Prince Albert and CW's wedding. They also met at Grace Kelly exhibition last year. I believe Charlene tried to maintain friendship with these royal couple. She stated in an OK! interview that she likes Prince Harry very much.

I haven't seen a photo of Charlotte Casiraghi yet...
Was she there or she didn't participate this event?
What is the truth?

She didn't attend this year.
Only the Princely Couple and the Casiraghi boys.

Am I the only one who noticed the awkward way Andrea gave away the third place trophy?
Rushed, no eye contact, nervousness.
Anyone?

He's always like that. Actually, I thought he was pretty normal this year.

I'm surprised there aren't many pics of them :ermm: There are always tons of pics of them arriving and some after the race too.

Andrea is looking pretty good. Nice to see him and Pierre, but I wish Charlotte had been there as well. And Charlene looks lovely in that dress.

Look at Charlene's dress at the Grand Prix!!!! What a fun dress! But I can't help thinking she can only get away with it because it's the Monaco Grand Prix - imagine is she had worn it to a Nascar event ;)

P.S. Love the new hair. Who knew that short hair could be so versatile?

Andrea has always struck me as the most timid of the Casiraghis, even beyond Charlotte. Especially lately, Charlotte has given me reason to think that she's not opposed to attention at all when it's on her own terms, although sometimes she can be awkward, too. But I haven't seen any pics of Pierre at all? Thanks for the link, but it only works apparently in Germany so I didn't get to see a live stream of the race. Are there any vids?

Me! ;) It basically does everything an up-do can do - and then some - without all the weight and hassle. It must be a relief for Charlene to have it short again - especially as she's a swimmer.

You can see Pierre next to Andrea in this pic:

I think it's great that Sophie was part of this event.
Great to see the Casiraghi men again.

Thanks, sugarbaby. I'm not a huge fan of Charlene, I don't hate her or anything, but it is a shame that now less attention is being placed on the Casiraghi boys now that she's in the picture. She did look nice at the event though.

Is the Grand Prix gala dinner taking place this evening?

That has to be the ugliest dress I have seen at the Grand prix.

:previous: I wouldn't say that. It's not great, but I always grade Charlene on a curve because I know I subconsciously compare her to Charlotte and Caroline, but she has seemed a little more confident lately and I think that makes me like this latest look more.

Andrea looks good until you get to his feet. Do mine eyes deceive me or are those suede moccasins?:ermm:
