Maybe Gabriella's (Ella to her family and friends) choice of evening reception dress was easier to manuever in than the ceremony dress. The evening dress is very pretty, and she was carrying a white stole for her shoulders. See it in the below video (at the end of next paragraph), along with glimpses of what Anne Hathaway and Pippa Middleton wore to the evening reception.

Is there one compilation video available of the guests and the bride arriving at St. George's Chapel? Below is a report with still pictures, including snapshots of guests at the Frogmore House reception, and views of Gabriella in her evening wedding reception dress at a London locale, which Anne Hathaway attended wearing a very pretty party gown (among other guests):

In the above video, Gabriella looks as if she was having a bit of trouble climbing the chapel steps. Perhaps due to the volume of the dress's train and the veil at her back, which would surely make it more difficult to mount steep steps?

I'm glad so many royal family members turned out. It looked to be a wonderful day and a beautiful wedding and reception at Frogmore House.

Gabriella seemed to go with tradition, sentiment, and romance for her wedding dress. It was a bit too heavy in the back with the train and the veil. I don't like her dress styling as much as I do Meghan's, Eugenie's and Autumn's. However, Gabriella's second dress is much prettier:

Out of all of the arrangements on the chapel steps, I like the colors and styling of Gabriella's the most.

Just had a look at this thread again today and I have to say, nothing beats a wedding party on the steps of St. George's! IMO it is the most romantic and impressive of all the royal wedding venues even though Westminster Abbey is bigger. Sorry all you Abbey lovers

But for beauty and the sense of intimacy and romance that can make or break a wedding, it is St. George's Chapel all the way.

Ella's bridal gown is even more gorgeous on display.

I know the wedding was 4 months ago now but if anyone is interested I have found some great videos of it on Getty Images. Just google 'Getty Images video' and then type 'Lady Gabriella wedding' into the getty search engine. The footage is fab especially of the royals and the Kingston family arriving at the Galilee porch before the service. You have you 'hit' on each frame which at first glance just look like pictures. Enjoy.
