Beware - the article linked below is from Daily Mail, if you wish to avoid that outlet.

(But the tales are from this new book, not the newpaper of course.)

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...ls-dramas-inside-walls-Kensington-Palace.html

Margaret shouting the c-word, Diana naked in front of builders who bowed to her before turning away, Margaret regularly spitting on the ground at the sight of someone, Meghan shouting at one of Kate and William's staff, the late realisation of the remoteness of Frogmore Cottage by Meghan. And much, much more.

Dismiss the anecdotes if you wish, but lots of cats out of lots of bags here.

Another interesting article with snippets from this new book -

(Again, be aware this is a Daily Mail article if you wish to avoid that outlet.)

Today, some insights into the historic characters who once lived in Kensington Palace.

And their behaviour wouldn't go down too well in the PC world of today -

Servants being paid a pittance as it was assumed they would steal anyway, the toilet "facilities" - buckets actually in corners and near fireplaces, one Monarch's delight in the death of his son and heir.

How would you like to be the bride of the heir, only to have the King lift your skirts and inspect you upon meeting you for the first time!

If anything it's an interesting read. If those walls could talk.

And while the other Harry and Meghan book has been at number one on Amazon's list, this book has been at number two. Maybe it's the Coronavirus Effect, people have more time to pay attention.

Certainly, despite the quite shocking revelations about various past and present Royals, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are front and centre on this book's cover.

And all the glossy magazine outlets have picked up on the snippets about the "Meghan shouted at Kate's staff" anecdote. Everyone knows what sells.

Here are links to some media promoting this book -
