How cute does Princess Sayako look in this picture?
It's really wonderful to see the informal pictures of the members of the Imperial Family; I'm much more used to the highly formal and traditional ones, so these are just priceless. :)

Crown prince naruhito still has that same face and I can even see aiko in him,

This is a very rare picture because there are also those relatives included who do not officially belong to the imperial family, for example Masako´s parents. Strange though that Princess Mako does not seem to be on the pic. She must have been a toddler at the time. Of course, it would not be easy to get a toddler to hold still to have such a huge picture taken. It seems to me that the two younger daughters of Prince Takamado are missing, too. But I somehow cannot get rid of the feeling that, had Mako been a boy, she´d have made it onto this photo.

Atsuko Ikeda, Emperor Akihito's older sister, attended the spring garden party at Okayama Korakuen Park in 2015 and 2016.

Not sure. Perhaps 1995 New Year's. This grid of CP Masako's tiara appearances up to 2015 show her wearing a tiara for "1995.01.01" with tiaras for subsequent new years.

No tiaras in 1994, CP Masako's first New Year's appearance.

1999 had tiaras.

No tiaras during Emperor Showa's New Year receptions (at least the latter years). I haven't found any photos from earlier in his reign.
