On Sunday, December 3, Prince Dom Bertrand of Orleans and Bragança, Head of the Imperial House of Brazil, was represented by his brother and sister-in-law, the Imperial Prince and Princess of Brazil, Dom Antonio and Dona Christine of Orleans and Bragança, at the Mass in remembrance of the soul of his great-great-grandfather, Emperor Dom Pedro II, at the São Pedro de Alcântara Cathedral, in Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro.
The celebration was offered at the initiative of the Petrópolis Historical Institute.
Also present were Dom Bertrand and Dom Antonio's second cousins, Prince Dom Pedro Carlos of Orleans and Bragança, with his wife, Princess Dona Patrícia of Orleans and Bragança, and Princes Dom Manuel Álvaro and Dom Francisco Humberto of Orleans and Bragança, as well as the latter's son, Prince Dom Francisco Theodoro of Orleans and Bragança, as well as monarchists, friends of the Brazilian Imperial Family and prominent figures.

On Sunday, January 9, Prince Dom Bertrand of Orleans and Bragança, Head of the Imperial House of Brazil, participated in the Acclamation to the Imperial Family, held at the Social Headquarters of his Secretariat, in São Paulo, by Rádio Brazil Imperial. Members and collaborators of the Secretariat of the Imperial Household, monarchists, friends of the Brazilian Imperial Family and other prominent figures were present.

On Tuesday, March 5, Prince Dom Bertrand of Orleans and Bragança, Head of the Imperial House of Brazil, participated in the meeting of the Council of Notables of the National Confederation of Commerce in Goods, Services and Tourism, at the headquarters of that entity, in Rio de Janeiro. On that occasion, the prince received the Grand Cross of the National Order of Commercial Merit and was elected – by acclamation from all members of the body present – honorary member of that Council.

 
On Saturday, March 16, Prince Dom Bertrand of Orleans and Bragança, Head of the Imperial House of Brazil, hosted a dinner at the Social Headquarters of his Secretariat, in São Paulo, to celebrate the birthday of his friend and collaborator, the Econome of the House Imperial, José Luiz Fábio.

 
Manuela de Orleans e Braganзa (b.1997) [youngest of three children of Prince Francisco Humberto of Orleans and Braganza (b.1956) and second child by his current wife, Rita de Cascia Pires (b.1961)] married Henry Grossi Kappaun (b.1992) this year.

Her half-brother Francisco Theodoro (b.1979) [only son of her father by his first wife Christina Schmidt Peзanha (b.1953)] married Mathieu Assumpaгo Arruda de Oliveira (b.1976) last year.
Her full brother Gabriel (b.1989) is single.

On Monday, March 18, Prince Dom Bertrand of Orleans and Bragança, Head of the Imperial House of Brazil, received in audience at the Social Headquarters of his Secretariat, in São Paulo, the Vice-President of the Historical and Geographical Institute of São Paulo Paulo, Malcolm Dale Kigar.

 
On Wednesday, March 20, Prince Dom Bertrand of Orleans and Bragança, Head of the Imperial House of Brazil, received at the Social Headquarters of his Secretariat, in São Paulo, the interviewer Pietra Bertolazzi and a filming team, formed by Ellen Dias, Daniel Mello, Luís Puccinali and Luiz Marques, from the Dom Bosco Center, in Rio de Janeiro.
The prince recorded his participation for a documentary about the Brazilian Imperial Family, being produced by CDB.

Is Mathieu Assumpaгo Arruda de Oliveira a man? If so, am I reading correctly that Prince Francisco Theodoro married another man? Just checking, because that's interesting if so.
 
Does Prince Pedro Carlos still live in Petropolis? When I visited Petropolis last year I was told that part of the Casa da Princesa Isabel -which hosted an exposition about German immigration at the time- was still used by the family.

The Session took place in the presence of Dom Duarte, Duke of Bragança, Head of the Royal House of Portugal, who presided over it and his cousin, Dom Francisco de Bragança van Uden, was also present. And everything was organized by the Portuguese Institute of Contemporary Studies, in celebration of the 200th anniversary of the 1824 Constitution, which Emperor Dom Pedro I granted to Brazil on March 25 of that year.
