Princess Märtha Louise of Norway and Durek Verrett: 31 August 2024

It was a beautiful wedding dress, simple with a few attached flowers, not over the top. However, how long are they going to string out their wedding. Someday the sparkle will fade, people will move on, and they will realize they are all alone and stuck with one another.
I think the stringing out of their wedding has to do with their being in the "influencer" business. The woman who designed the dress is featured and will probably generate new customers by their postings. I have learned a few things how "influencers" can earn lots of money. It is complicated but might work if you are well known people. Märtha and Durek have discovered that field of making money some time ago and that I am sure will be how they hope to earn millions in the future. We will see pictures of their honeymoon, pictures of who designed the jewellery and more is to come. And, for each and every comment towards a certain business they will generate money. I never ever understood how such people as the Kardashians for example earned millions by being "influencers", but it works.

The Kardashians are the Kadashians , they know how to do , the Verrets not the Verrets as Martha is a Royal they know nothing about how to do , they are not very well known . We will see if the millions will come?

Opera singer Mari Eriksmoen knew Märtha Louise a little through mutual friends. Märtha Louise called her and asked her to sing at the wedding.
Not many people know that Durek's aunt was one of America's biggest opera stars. She passed away in 2010. Mari says Shirley Verrett was one of the greatest opera singers of all time. She thinks it's great that they wanted opera at the wedding.
- I sang when Märtha walked in, where you usually have the bridal march. They wanted opera there. I sang two songs during the wedding together with my friend, opera singer Victoria Randem. We were guests during the dinner and sang a number during the dinner mostly for fun, as a pop-up.
She found the tone with the Swedish royal house.
- Victoria and Daniel were absolutely fantastic. They were genuinely interested in classical music and asked a lot. They had a clue and were very pleasant. They were really good people.

Wikipedia lists her accomplishments as an opera singer, and describes Shirley Verrett as the "estranged aunt of media personality Derek Verrett". (Shirley Verrett - Wikipedia)

The wedding cost the Police NOK 1,6 million.
The Møre og Romsdal Police District must cover the extraordinary costs of salaries, materials, food and lodging itself.

Wow bet the local police are delighted by that.

1.6 million NOK equal approx $142,602.50 US. That is a lot of money!! The article indicated: "Since the police work would require a considerable amount of resources, the police district requested financial assistance early in the planning phase, and gave the Police Directorate a cost estimate for the assignment of three million kroner.

The background was that this would be an extraordinary mission for the police district.
Department Director Krohn Dalen says that throughout the planning phase, the district was prepared to cover the costs within its own limits."

So...apparently the Police District had already planned to spend up to 3 million NOK. Perhaps the $1.6, while a lot of money, actually came under budget.

I'm surprised the wedding couple weren't required to "chip in" to cover the exorbitant amount. My thoughts were the wedding couple felt entitled and could have cared less how much it cost the Police District to keep the safety during their "ridiculously over the top wedding.

Jon Erlend Vinje rented out his private garden for Märtha Louise and Durek's wedding tent. He says that he still hasn't been paid for everything. His company's total bill to Princess Märtha Louise Kulturformidling was close to NOK 150,000 and 50,000 of the bill is still unpaid.
All eyes were on Vinje's garden during the wedding. He had a large number of working hours for the bride and groom, as he was involved in much of the preparations on the area before the wedding. And the cleanup afterwards. Jon Erlend Vinje says:
- It is unfortunately true that we haven't been paid for all the work done during the wedding, and I can confirm that several of the unpaid bills have been sent to debt collection. I've been running my own company for 13 years and I've never experienced anything like this. I can barely remember having to send a single reminder. And then I suddenly end up having to send three bills to debt collection.

That is quite embarrassing considering that this involves a member of the NRF. Are they short of money or so occupied with other things that they forget to pay their bills, or did they think they get everything for free because they are so important.

Jon Erlend Vinje rented out his private garden for Märtha Louise and Durek's wedding tent. After months of disagreement, reminders and debt collection claims, Vinje says he is ready to put an end to the money dispute:
– We have "agreed". I have been paid an amount, about half of the amount I demanded. Enough is enough. I wanted to finish it, it's not worth any more of my time. I would have had to go to the Conciliation Council in Vestby if I were to take the case further. There would be too much confusion.
What do you think about why this has taken so long?
– I don't think I should comment on that. It's good to be done.
Vinje will not go into detail about what happened beyond this.
– There is a lot I would have liked to have said, but I have decided that it is best not to.
Märtha Louise's manager Carina Scheele Carlsen writes: We are pleased that the case has finally been closed after it was escalated to a neutral third party...

According to what Se og Hør has learned, this means that Märtha Louise paid half of the sum - in other words, about NOK 25,000. Thus, she avoided debt collection and legal consequences at the last minute. Once again.

A couple with money and part of the Royal family doesn't pay the bill! Very embarassing and disgraceful
It boggles the mind how ML can keep going on as if all is just peachy dandy. The duo including Shamster Verrett live in a pretend world. At some point they will cross a line that won't be so favorable landing one if not both of them answering to law enforcement.
